Aljochina befinde sich nicht mehr auf russischem Staatsgebiet, sagte ihr Anwalt Daniil Berman am Dienstagabend nach Angaben der Agentur Interfax. Nach unbestätigten Berichten soll sie ihren Wohnort in der Uniform eines Kurierdienstes verlassen haben. Ihr aktueller Aufenthaltsort ist nicht bekannt.

Russian #PussyRiot Member Gets Another 15 Days In Jail After Finishing Sentence

A founding member of the Pussy Riot protest group in Moscow, Maria Alyokhina, has been handed another 15 days in jail right after she served a similar jail term. Alyokhina was expected to be released on March 14, but instead of letting her go home, a Moscow court sent her back to jail for another 15 days for “refusal to follow orders to move from one cell to another while in jail.” She was detained on February 28 and sentenced to 15 days in jail on a charge of disobeying police, which Alyokhina denied. On February 8, Alyokhina was sentenced to 15 days in jail over an Instagram post in 2015, which a Moscow court found as “inciting hatred.”

Die Polizei in Russland hat einen Videodreh der feministischen Punkband Pussy Riot gestoppt. Der Song soll unter anderem vom Widerstand gegen Polizeigewalt handeln. Die russische Polizei hat die Punkband Pussy Riot bei Dreharbeiten für ein neues regierungskritisches Video mit dem Titel Rage gestoppt. Im Kinostudio Lenfim in St. Petersburg sei nach einem Einsatz der Beamten der Strom abgestellt worden, teilte die Musikerin Nadeschda Tolokonnikowa mit. Der Vorwurf laute, das Video sei illegal, weil es Homosexualität “propagiere” und extremistisch sei, schrieb die 30-Jährige im Kurznachrichtendienst Twitter. Der Punksong handele vom Widerstand gegen die Machthaber in Russland und gegen Polizeigewalt.
