The plots were uncovered in 2020 and 2021, and covered numerous states. Three men pleaded guilty to a 2021 plot in February of 2022, and five men indicted by the Eastern District of North Carolina in a 2020 plot are awaiting trial. Both of these cases involved groups planning attacks on substations in different states, primarily using high-powered automatic weapons. Other than shared white supremacist ideology, it does not seem that the cases are directly connected. The planning in both of them also shares similarities with the attack in Moore County, although no group has taken responsibility for the shooting of the two substations in early December. The indictment alleges that for three years, between 2017 and 2020, Kryscuk manufactured guns and Collins, stationed at Camp Lejeune at the time, stole military gear and had them delivered to the other men. Duncan gathered “a library of information,” some military owned, about weapons, toxins and explosives. The indictment goes into detail about how Collins and Kryscuk met on “Iron March,” a now-defunct forum for neo-Nazis to organize and recruit. They moved to encrypted messaging to talk outside of the forum, recruiting the other three accused men. Video footage obtained show the men shooting guns, wearing AtomWaffen style-masks while giving Nazi salutes. The phrase “come home white man” is seen in the video. Authorities in Romania said police served search warrants at five homes and detained four suspects, including two Britons and two Romanians, as part of an investigation into organized human trafficking and rape. They did not name any of those detained. A lawyer for Andrew and Tristan Tate told CNN that the brothers were expected to appear in court later Friday. He stressed that Andrew Tate was not under arrest. “He was not arrested. He was detained for 24 hours,” said the lawyer, Eugen Vidineac. The attorney did not discuss any of the allegations. Romania’s Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism, a government agency, released an edited, grainy, sometimes out-of-focus video purportedly showing the raids. Ein mutmaßlicher “Reichsbürger” aus Boxberg will einen SEK-Einsatz mit Beschlagnahmung von Tieren nicht auf sich sitzen lassen. Das Amt widerspricht seinen Vorwürfen. Das Veterinäramt des Main-Tauber-Kreises hat Vorwürfen eines mutmaßlichen “Reichsbürgers” aus Boxberg (Main-Tauber-Kreis) widersprochen. Zuvor hatte sich die Familie auf sozialen Medien lautstark über einen SEK-Einsatz beschwert. Bei einem Einsatz Anfang November wurden 84 Tiere der Familie durch das Veterinäramt beschlagnahmt. Mit anwesend war das Spezialeinsatzkommando (SEK). Die Polizei begründete das mit den Erfahrungen, die man bei dem ersten Einsatz im Frühjahr gemacht habe. Am 23. Dezember hatte sich die Familie über den Facebook-Account einer Nachbarin zu Wort gemeldet: Sie wirft dem Veterinäramt des Main-Tauber-Kreises “Behördenwillkür” vor. Es habe bei einem Einsatz Anfang November, bei dem auch das SEK anwesend war, die Rinder, Schafe, Hühner, Enten und Pfauen illegal konfisziert. Die Familie sagt, den Tieren sei es gut gegangen, sie seien “top gepflegt und bei bester Gesundheit”. Nun würden sie geschlachtet werden. Die ebenfalls beschlagnahmten Hunde, eine Rasse aus Südafrika, hätten kein Winterfell und säßen seit sechs Wochen im Außenzwinger eines Tierheims. Außerdem seien zwei hochtragende Kühe abtransportiert worden, obwohl das per Gesetz verboten sei. Der Aufruf, dass möglichst viele Menschen sich beim Landratsamt wegen des Vorgehens beschweren sollen, endet mit den Worten “Gott mit uns” – dem Wahlspruch des preußischen Königshauses und späteren Deutschen Kaisers. Das Landratsamt widerspricht den Vorwürfen, es habe die Tiere illegal konfisziert: Eine Sprecherin erklärte dem SWR, die Behörde habe im Sinne des Tierschutzes gehandelt und eine “tierschutzrechtliche Anordnung” vollstreckt. Die Tiere seien in geeignete Unterbringungsmöglichkeiten verbracht worden, in denen sie den Anforderungen des Tierschutzgesetzes entsprechend gehalten werden können. Falls erforderlich, komme den Tieren auch ausreichende tierärztliche Betreuung und Behandlung zuteil.

Internet feuds and dramas are often a waste of time. On occasion, they result in something humorous or noteworthy enough to where you have to give credit where credit is due. Such is the case with the feud between former kickboxer and current misogynist Andrew Tate, and environmental activist Greta Thunberg. In this case, it’s not so much the exchange between the two of them that’s fun, but the way the internet has decided to commemorate it that makes it chuckle-worthy. And it’s all thanks to Wikipedia. Also, Tate and his brother have now been arrested by Romanian authorities after an investigation probe into a human trafficking ring. More on that later. (…) It’s also unclear as to whether or not he actually did send an email to Thunberg at [email protected], or if he’s just wallowing in his defeat at the hands of a 19-year-old. Not to kick a misogynist when he’s down, but as of December 29th, Tate’s villa in Romania was raided by local authorities. Tate is reportedly being investigated surrounding terrorism and organized crime. Part of this seems to be stemming from the vehicles in question while another part of the investigation involves potential human trafficking. Tate claimed it wasn’t a raid, but rather he is being “swatted,” a term that refers to someone falsely tipping off authorities to breach someone’s home. Sometimes you just can’t win.

Such is the case with the feud between former kickboxer and current misogynist Andrew Tate, and environmental activist Greta Thunberg. In this case, it’s not so much the exchange between the two of them that’s fun, but the way the internet has decided to commemorate it that makes it chuckle-worthy. And it’s all thanks to Wikipedia. Also, Tate and his brother have now been arrested by Romanian authorities after an investigation probe into a human trafficking ring. More on that later. (…) It’s also unclear as to whether or not he actually did send an email to Thunberg at [email protected], or if he’s just wallowing in his defeat at the hands of a 19-year-old. Not to kick a misogynist when he’s down, but as of December 29th, Tate’s villa in Romania was raided by local authorities. Tate is reportedly being investigated surrounding terrorism and organized crime. Part of this seems to be stemming from the vehicles in question while another part of the investigation involves potential human trafficking. Tate claimed it wasn’t a raid, but rather he is being “swatted,” a term that refers to someone falsely tipping off authorities to breach someone’s home. Sometimes you just can’t win.
