Eine Gruppe mutmaßlicher Neonazis hat nach Angaben der Jüdischen Gemeinde Rom versucht, ein Hotel in der bulgarischen Hauptstadt Sofia zu stürmen. Dort hätten sich jüdische Jugendliche aus Italien aufgehalten. Die Angreifer sollen antisemitische Parolen gerufen, den Hitlergruß gezeigt und den Zugang zum Gebäude blockiert haben. Der Vorfall ereignete sich am letzten Sonntag. “Unsere Kinder sind in Europa nicht frei unterwegs, ohne Gewalt und verbaler Aggression durch Antisemiten ausgesetzt zu sein”, erklärte der Vorsitzende der Jüdischen Gemeinde Rom, Victor Fadlun. Nach seinen Angaben dokumentiert ein Video den Vorfall. Darauf seien schwarz gekleidete Skinheads mit Totenkopf-Symbolen zu sehen, die vor dem Hotel den NS-Spruch “Sieg Heil” gerufen und den verbotenen Gruß gezeigt hätten. Ermittlungen laufen Die Gruppe habe versucht, in das Gebäude einzudringen, in dem sich mehrere Dutzend Jugendliche, darunter Mitglieder der Jüdischen Gemeinde Rom, mit ihren Betreuern aufhielten. Nach dem Einschreiten der Polizei seien die Angreifer zunächst verschwunden, später jedoch zurückgekehrt und hätten erneut die Eingänge blockiert.
