The Orillia Detachment Community Street Crime Unit allegedly recovered a loaded Glock, a 43 9 millimeter handgun, 214 grams of fentanyl, 218 grams of cocaine, 58 grams of heroin, $12,000 in Canadian Currency, several prohibited knives, a stolen police bulletproof vest, seven cellular devices, and Swastika/Nazi paraphernalia on August 22, 2024. An investigation into drug trafficking and weaponry in Simcoe County has led to the arrest of five people. On Thursday, the Orillia Detachment Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) said it recovered a loaded glock, a 43 9 millimeter handgun, 214 grams of fentanyl, 218 grams of cocaine, 58 grams of heroin, $12,000 in Canadian currency, several prohibited knives, a stolen police bulletproof vest, seven cellular devices, and Swastika/Nazi paraphernalia. The CSCU initiated this investigation in early June after it says it discovered that a group of traffickers were operating in the Simcoe County area.
