Mehrere Polizisten erwiderten demnach das Feuer. Der Schütze sei mit lebensbedrohlichen Verletzungen ins Krankenhaus eingeliefert worden. Ein bei dem Schusswechsel verletzter Polizist befindet sich den Angaben zufolge in einem “kritischen, aber stabilen Zustand”. Die Polizei machte zunächst keine Angaben zum möglichen Motiv des Schützen.
