Erneut haben Unbekannte Stolpersteine in Weimar geschändet. Mehrere Stolpersteine sind in der Innenstadt mit roter Farbe beschmiert worden. Insgesamt sind sieben Erinnerungssteine beschädigt worden, wie die Polizei Jena mitteilte. Einen der Stolpersteine begossen Unbekannte augenscheinlich zusätzlich mit einer säurehaltigen Substanz, wie es hieß. Untersuchungen sollen zeigen, worum es sich dabei handelte. Darüber hinaus werden auch immer wieder Plakate mit einem Bezug zu Juden in Weimar mit anti-jüdischen Schriftzügen versehen.

He now faces nine charges, including murder, hiding a corpse and identity theft. Prosecutors say they’ve linked Casap to The Order of Nine Angles, a neo-Nazi group that originated in the U.K. The organization is considered a “satanic cult” by the FBI with “strong anti-Judaism anti-Christian and anti-western ideologies.” The group dates its calendar from the birth of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, and believes in creating a new world order which emphasizes social darwinism, satanism and fascism, the BBC reports. Prosecutors say Casap had written a manifesto calling for Trump’s assassination and other terrorist attacks, according to his arrest warrant reviewed by local outlet WISN. The goal, his manifesto said, was to spark a political revolution and promote white supremacy. One classmate told investigators that Casap said he was speaking with someone in Russia through the Telegram messaging app, and they concocted a plan to assassinate Trump and overthrow the government, according to investigators. Casap also told his contact that he wanted to shoot his parents but that he didn’t have a gun, the person told investigators. Later, Casap told the person that he planned to befriend someone with a gun so he could steal it and kill his parents.

The teens, aged between 14 and 17, are part of a network of sick groups known as “The Com”, who are targeting girls for sexual exploitation, toxic bullying and self-harm – persuading them to cut Nazi and occult emblems into their skin. They are also sharing a ‘pervert’s handbook’ which gives them access to codes they can use to hack into girls’ social media accounts and access twisted content on the dark web. Chillingly, this is no ‘ordinary’ organised crime gang. Rather, experts explain how The Com is formed of groups of alienated teenagers brought together from all corners of the internet, including in video game chat rooms. Often intelligent and knowledgeable about criminal practices including hacking, they use their skills not just to earn money through cyber crime, but inflict misery upon other unsuspecting young internet users in a bid to impress their peers. (…) “We need to try and understand how an eight-year-old boy playing online games with his mates is, for instance, six years later threatening to kill his family, persuading girls online to cut themselves and coaxing a boy in the US to shoot himself.” The problem of boys’ toxic behaviour online was highlighted in the recent Netflix drama Adolescence, which starred Owen Cooper as a 13-year-old who stabbed a female classmate after being drawn into misogynistic incel sites. And NCA experts say The Com (short for community) groups are usually social outsiders who find each other through toxic platforms and messaging services. (…) Rob Richardson said: “There’s an exchange of a kind of ‘lore book’ online, a guide to sharing information about victims that enable offenders to dox or swat, techniques on how to identify harmful material and how to get on to the dark web. “The frightening thing is the level of coercion that goes on.   Nazi symbols “These boys are persuading girls to take drugs, alcohol, poisonous substances and, in some cases, cut themselves. “We’ve seen cases of girls who have been persuaded to cut the group’s name or emblem, including occult and Nazi symbols, into their skin, then use the blood to write on a wall. “The level of coercion is such that when police attend the girls’ homes to safeguard them, they don’t see anything wrong with posting gory images online and say, ‘What’s the problem,? It’s just a laugh’.” One mum told Sky News her daughter, Mary*, was targeted at 12 and manipulated into sending self-harm and child sexual abuse content. She stopped sleeping, lost weight and, as her mum later discovered, was left covered in scars from self-harming. Mary pretended to be watching YouTube in the middle of the night when she was actually in contact with The Com and, if her devices were taken away, she threatened suicide.

US army investigates after young private follows the Base, which has vowed to recruit soldiers for so-called race war. An active-duty serviceman in the US army is openly following a proscribed neo-Nazi terrorist group on social media, one that has vowed to recruit soldiers in preparation for a so-called race war. Experts say examples like this shows how under Pete Hegseth, the Pentagon is allowing extremism to go unchecked. On the surface, following a TikTok account might seem like a minor infraction for a young private in the 1st Infantry Division. But not only has that private followed the Base, a violent neo-Nazi terrorist organization once the target of an FBI investigation, there are directives issued under Joe Biden that discourages that kind of social media activity. But in February, the Department of Defense issued a memo halting a major counter-extremism initiative rooting out white nationalists and far-right influences among servicemen, citing that it was not in line with Donald Trump’s executive orders. Since, the efficacy of rooting out the far right within the ranks remains unclear. In the wake of the January 6 insurrection on Capitol Hill and early revelations that at least 151 of those attackers had a military background, the Pentagon issued a historic stand-down order and created a working group on extremism. By December 2021, it released new policies on what constitutes extremist activities, namely policing how soldiers behave on social media, which included any affiliations to extremist organizations. On an obscure and secretive TikTok account the Base operates for recruitment, counting just 30 followers, a private and mortarmen in the 1st Infantry Division is listed as a follower. Posts on the account promote the Base’s assassination and sabotage mission in Ukraine, neo-Nazi iconography, and plans to create “platoon-sized units of highly dedicated, trained men”. The Guardian provided the name and rank to the US army, which said it was now investigating the matter. (…) On the private’s Instagram account, he appears to be an airsoft gun enthusiast and a second world war re-enactor that has played as a member of a unit of what appears to be Germany’s Nazi-era Wehrmacht. “The TikTok account affiliated with the group includes a clear statement supporting accelerationism and advises joining the group to be linked up with other individuals to exploit ‘collapse’,” said Joshua Fisher-Birch, a longtime far-right analyst and expert on the Base who noticed the soldier following the account. “The Base has been designated as a terrorist group by the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.” Fisher-Birch pointed out that the Base and other adjacent groups, like the now-defunct Atomwaffen Division, are still interested in political violence and continue to prioritize the recruitment of soldiers because “combat experience and military training are prized”. But under the reign of the new Pentagon, extremism and the far right are an afterthought, while policing and deleting away “woke” ideologies remains paramount. Hegseth has his own connections to Christian nationalism and was reported by a servicemember for alleged extremist tattoos that prevented him from attending president Biden’s inauguration.

Sie stellte Strafanzeige.Zwickaus Oberbürgermeisterin ist offenbar bedroht worden. Mit einem emotionalen Post hat sich die Kommunalpolitikerin Constance Arndt (Bürger für Zwickau) an die Öffentlichkeit gewandt. Im sozialen Netzwerk Facebook veröffentlichte sie eine entsprechende Drohmail an sie. Das Schreiben stammt demnach von einem anonymen Absender, der sich “Adolf Hitler” nennt. Sie solle immer schön aufpassen, heißt es darin. Der Absender erinnerte an den hessischen Regierungspräsidenten Walter Lübcke (CDU). In der Nachricht heißt es: »Denken Sie an Walter Lübke. Immer schön aufpassen«. (…) In ihrem Beitrag auf Instagram schrieb die Oberbürgermeisterin von Zwickau, sie habe bereits einen Strafantrag gestellt.

Die „Calenberger Bande“ vor Gericht

Nach jahrelangen Ermittlungen finden in Hannover gerade Prozesse gegen Anhänger der Neonazigruppe „Calenberger Bande“ statt. Bei Razzien wurden Gewaltvideos, Beweise für Tierquälerei und kilogrammweise Material zur Sprengstoffherstellung gefunden. Für versuchten Totschlag wurden drei Mitglieder zu Haftstrafen verurteilt. Es drängt sich die Frage auf, warum das Strukturermittlungsverfahren nach Paragraph 129a gegen die Gruppe eingestellt wurde. In Hannover und Umgebung gibt es eine Reihe unaufgeklärter Straftaten mit neonazistischer Handschrift. Sachbeschädigungen mit Volksverhetzung, Brandstiftung bei einer kurdischen Familie und eine Attacke auf die Haustür eines jüdischen Ehepaars. Seit mehreren Jahren vermuten Antifaschist:innen eine klandestin organisierte „Kameradschaft“ dahinter: Die sogenannte „Calenberger Bande“.  Auch die Polizei ermittelte. Durch mehrere Prozesse, die am Landgericht Hannover stattfinden, ist ein Blick in die Ermittlungen, die Struktur der „Calenberger Bande“ und die Gewaltaffinität mehrerer Mitglieder möglich. Mehr als 10.000 Seiten sollen die Akten füllen. Seit mehr als fünfzehn Jahren ist Patrick Schneider (geb. Kruse) in Niedersachsen und bundesweit in der neonazistischen Szene aktiv. Schneider gilt als Kopf der „Calenberger Bande“ und soll sich im Gruppenchat mit „Tim“ ansprechen haben lassen. Wohnhaft ist er bei seiner Ehefrau in Pattensen. Seit 2013 war er als Liedermacher („Jugendgedanken“) beim RechtsRocklabel „OPOS-Records“ aktiv. 2015 wurde er zu einem Jahr Haft auf Bewährung verurteilt. Er hatte Parteibüros angegriffen, Stolpersteine und eine Gedenktafel für deportierte Jüdinnen und Juden beschmiert, den Grünen-Bundestagsabgeordneten Sven-Christian Kindler und Mitglieder der DKP angegriffen und versucht, Geflüchtete während eines Hungerstreiks zu attackieren. (…) Patrick Schneider hat mit den Brüdern Frederik und Florian Laskowski, am Morgen des 7. Januar 2020, einem Arbeitskollegen des Onkels der beiden aufgelauert und diesen so schwer verprügelt, dass dieser später ins künstliche Koma versetzt werden musste. Die Motive dafür sind bis heute völlig unklar. Alle Angeklagten schwiegen vor Gericht.  Den Betroffenen ließen die Drei schwerst verletzt vor dessen Garage liegen und durchsuchten wohl seine Wohnung (…) Das Gerichtsverfahren gab einige spannende Einblicke zu den Ermittlungen rund um die „Calenberger Bande“. Vor Gericht sagte der ehemalige Leiter des hannoverschen Staatsschutzdezernats aus und beschrieb die Arbeit der etwa 30 bis 40 köpfigen „Ermittlungsgruppe Elhaz“. „Es ging zunächst um Volksverhetzung, Sachbeschädigungen, Brandstiftungen und den Verdacht der Vorbereitung einer schweren staatsgefährdenden Straftat“, erinnerte sich der Chefermittler im Zeugenstand.  Nach drei Monaten sei man über Indymedia darauf aufmerksam geworden, wer zur „Calenberger Bande“ gehören solle. Darauf folgten erstmals Durchsuchungen, bei denen zahlreiche elektronische Speichermedien konfisziert wurden. Mehrere Terabyte Daten wurde sichergestellt. Schneider wurde sein Handy in der Vorlesung in der Göttinger Universität abgenommen.  Bei der Auswertung der elektronischen Geräte stießen die Ermittler dann auf Chatverläufe, in denen es um eine nicht weiter benannte Straftat ging. Schneider schlug vor, „es am 7. durchzuziehen“, so der Chefermittler. Außerdem erinnerte er Florian Laskowski daran Kabelbinder mit zunehmen. „Fredde“ könne die mitbringen, war die Antwort. So nannte sich Frederik Laskowski in den sozialen Medien. Das Opfer war nach der Tat an Händen und Füßen gefesselt gefunden worden. Schneider habe außerdem angewiesen, Taschenlampen mitzunehmen und Handys zuhause zu lassen. Um vier Uhr, etwa zwei Stunden vor der Tat, meldete sich Schneider per Chat mit einem Herze-Moji bei seiner Frau ab. Kurz nach der Tat schrieb Schneider „Guten Morgen“. Gegen Mittag habe er dann geschrieben, er sei deprimiert und es habe einen „Totalschaden“ gegeben, beschreibt der Ermittler. Danach suchte Schneider die Meldung zur Tat auf dem polizeilichen Presseportal.

Hinweis “Werk mit umstrittenen Inhalt” keine Grundrechtsverletzung – #Stadt­bücherei #Münster darf vor eigenen Büchern warnen

Leseempfehlungen in Bibliotheken sind keine Seltenheit. Doch was gilt für eine Warnung? Ein Autor klagte gegen einen kritischen Einordnungshinweis und sieht das staatliche Neutralitätsprinzip als verletzt an. Jetzt entschied das VG Münster. Der von der Stadtbücherei Münster in einem zur Ausleihe zur Verfügung gestellten Buch angebrachte Einordnungshinweis, das Buch sei “ein Werk mit umstrittenem Inhalt”, verletzt Autoren nicht in seinen Grundrechten. Das hat das Verwaltungsgericht (VG) Münster im einstweiligen Rechtsschutz entschieden (Beschl. v. 11.04.2025, Az. 1 L 59/25). Die Stadtbücherei versah zwei Bücher mit dem Hinweis. In der ersten Fassung lautete dieser, dass Inhalte der Werke “möglicherweise nicht mit den Grundsätzen einer demokratischen Gesellschaft vereinbar” seien. In der letzten Fassung lautet der Hinweis: “Dies ist ein Werk mit umstrittenem Inhalt. Dieses Exemplar wird aufgrund der Zensur-, Meinungs- und Informationsfreiheit zur Verfügung gestellt.” Betroffen sind laut einer Meldung der Fachstelle Öffentliche Bibliotheken NRW das Buch “Putin, Herr des Geschehens?” von Jacques Baud sowie “2024 – das andere Jahrbuch: verheimlicht, vertuscht, vergessen” von Gerhard Wisnewski. Nach LTO-Informationen verlangte der Autor Gerhard Wisnewski daraufhin die Entfernung sowie die zukünftige Unterlassung entsprechender Hinweise in seinen Büchern – ohne Erfolg. Das VG Münster entschied: Der Einordnungshinweis ist von der gesetzlichen Aufgabenzuweisung für öffentliche Bibliotheken in NRW, denen unter anderem ein Bildungsauftrag zukomme, gedeckt. Es sei der Stadtbücherei grundlegend gestattet, zu den zur Ausleihe bereitgestellten Werken inhaltlich Stellung zu nehmen. Wer loben darf, darf auch kritisieren Dies gelte in positiver Hinsicht beispielsweise in Form von Empfehlungen sowie in negativer Hinsicht durch kritische Hinweise. Es wäre mit dem gesetzlichen Auftrag nicht vereinbar, so das VG weiter, “eine öffentliche Bibliothek darauf zu beschränken, Medien allein passiv zur Ausleihe bereit zu stellen”.
