Fury as Neo-Nazis hold birthday party for Adolf Hitler complete with swastika flags and birthday cake

Neo-Nazi extremists openly gathered at an Oldham pub to celebrate Adolf Hitler’s birthday complete with flags and even a cake decorated with swastikas, it emerged today. Members of the north west branch of racist fringe group British Movement assembled at the Duke of Edinburgh last Saturday afternoon. The far right obsessives unfurled flags displaying Nazi symbols and even tucked into a black, red and white birthday cake emblazoned with a swastika. They then showed off about the shocking celebration on social media, sickeningly saying the pub had been filled with the ‘warm laughter of comrades’ as they marked ‘the 136th Birthday of Uncle A’. After been approached about the appalling scenes, the pub has said it had no knowledge of the actions of the group of up to eight men and one woman and had now reported them to police. (…) One picture, showing three men with their faces pixelated holding a flag emblazoned with a swastika, SS bolts and the Iron Cross, has been digitally altered to include a black and white photograph of Hitler. Another shows five men stood posing behind the British Movement flag. The footage shows the men unfurling the flags to pose for pictures before quickly hiding them away. It also shows one man, wearing a German national team football shirt with ‘Fuhrer 44’ printed on the back, appearing to do the Nazi salute. A post on the group’s Telegram feed reads: ‘On a gorgeous sunny afternoon in Greater Manchester, a platoon of Northwest British Movement met up to celebrate the 136th Birthday of Uncle A. (…) The Duke of Edinburgh’s incoming landlady Jean Anderson, who is taking over the pub from her partner Terry English, said she knew nothing about the group’s outrageous neo-Nazi stunt. Testimony of Sachsenhausen Nazi camp commandant revealed: ‘We conducted painful experiments on humans’

Russia’s federal intelligence service released for the first time the 1946 interrogation transcript of Anton Kaindl, a former concentration camp commandant admitted that under his leadership, Sachsenhausen became a center for the extermination of Soviet prisoners and deadly human experiments. Marking 80 years since the liberation of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp by the Red Army, Russia’s FSB intelligence service has released classified documents from the interrogation of the camp’s former commandant, Anton Kaindl. The 39-page transcript, recorded in Berlin on December 20, 1946, contains Kaindl’s confessions about the “special procedures” implemented under his command. Sachsenhausen, located about 30 kilometers north of Berlin, was established in 1936 by order of Heinrich Himmler and designed to be a “model camp,” often staged for visits by foreign delegations. During World War II, more than 100,000 people—political dissidents, Jews, Roma and primarily Soviet prisoners of war—died there. (…) Kaindl further disclosed that “highly secret operations for the extermination of people” were carried out at the camp, following orders from Himmler and other officials of the German government and intelligence services. He said that between 1942 and 1945, under his direct leadership, the camp became a center for the mass extermination of Soviet prisoners of war and civilians. “Camp inmates were killed in groups and individually by hanging on stationary and mobile gallows, shooting in a specially designated room, gassing, and poisoning — either by mixing toxins into food or by direct injection into the body,” Kaindl described.

2024 haben Betroffene in der Schweiz 40 Prozent mehr rassistische Vorfälle als im Vorjahr gemeldet. Die meisten Vorfälle gab es in der Schule, am Arbeitsplatz und im öffentlichen Raum. Am häufigsten ging es um Fremdenfeindlichkeit und Rassismus gegen Schwarze. Der Anstieg der Meldungen beim Beratungsnetz für Rassismusopfer hält seit Jahren an, wie die Eidgenössische Kommission gegen Rassismus (EKR), die Organisation Humanrightswatch und das Beratungsnetz am Sonntag mitteilten. Im vergangenen Jahr gab es demnach 1211 dokumentierte Fälle, 335 oder knapp 40 Prozent mehr als 2023. Für den starken Anstieg sind den Angaben zufolge einerseits die Polarisierung der öffentlichen Meinung und die geopolitische Lage ausschlaggebend. Andererseits sind auch die Beratungsstellen bekannter geworden, und die Opfer suchen schneller Hilfe.Nach Lebensbereichen geordnet erhielt das Netzwerk mit 19 Prozent am meisten Meldungen aus der Bildung und dabei vor allem von der obligatorischen Schule. So meldete eine Mutter die Ausgrenzung ihres Sohnes in der Klasse, Hitlergrüsse und rechtsextreme Symbole.

Former members of an international neo-Nazi cell are alleging that their leader is a Kremlin spy, the Guardian reported on Thursday.  The allegations against Rinaldo Nazzaro, the leader of the Base, a EU- and UK-designated terrorist group, could bring additional insight to the terror group’s attempts to assassinate and politically sabotage Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.  The Guardian reported that extremist right-wing Telegram groups are circulating a website with testimonies from former Base members who claim that the white supremacist organization is a shadow organization for the Russian intelligence service (FSB). (…) “Things started becoming really SUS when a few members could see him texting on the phone in Russian, in a fluent/at least a good level as he was writing fast and seemingly naturally, all of that alone led to the belief that [Nazzaro] might be a Russian federal asset, and at that time it was already obvious that he was flying to Russia back and forth.” Other members reported on the website that during a surge of arrests of Base members, he “gets into a plane to Russia.” The former Base members said that the group’s latest mission in Ukraine, where it offers cash for carrying out assassination and sabotage missions, is a Russian intelligence operation. Neo-Nazi Group Salutes in Wenceslas Square, Flees Before Arrest

Around 30 neo-Nazis performed Nazi salutes on Saturday afternoon at the statue of Saint Wenceslas in Prague’s Wenceslas Square. Captured by a security camera, the group had already dispersed before police arrived. According to Czech television stations Prima and Nova, many of the individuals likely traveled from Germany. Eyewitnesses reported that most members of the group climbed onto the statue’s base. One individual stood in front, raising his right hand in a Nazi salute, prompting the others to respond similarly. The act was reportedly accompanied by shouts of “Sieg heil,” according to Prima. “There were about thirty of them, and they mostly spoke German. Before the police, who were called by someone nearby, could arrive, they had disappeared. People around did nothing—some groups even chose to leave the area,” an eyewitness wrote in an email to the television station.
