‘Transgender’ and ‘queer’ erased from #Stonewall Uprising national monument website – #fascistSystem

The National Park Service has removed references to transgender and queer people on its web page for the Stonewall National Monument, which marks the site of the New York City inn where LGBTQ rioters – including now-legendary transgender activists – galvanized a movement for LGBTQ rights. On the NPS web page, the term “LGBTQ+” was also shortened to “LGB,” according to an archived version of the page. “This feels especially personal … when you’re coming into the birthplace of the LGBTQ rights movement – where Pride began – and erasing the history of the LGBTQ rights movement by erasing trans folks,” said Stacy Lentz, co-owner of the Stonewall Inn. The Stonewall Inn at the heart of New York City’s Greenwich Village is prized as an origin of the contemporary LGBTQ rights movement and is internationally revered as a symbol of gay, lesbian and transgender resistance. The gay bar was the site of a 1969 police raid that sparked a fierce backlash from its patrons and led to days of protests and skirmishes between LGBTQ rioters and police. The National Parks Service’s action is the latest move in the Trump administration’s sweeping efforts to expunge references to trans and nonbinary people across federal agencies. Since President Donald Trump issued a directive last month that the federal government only recognize two genders: male and female, agencies including the State Department and CDC have truncated the “LGBTQ+” acronym to simply “LGB,” erased references to trans, queer and intersex people, and removed web pages and data sets relating to the groups. New York City Councilperson Erik Bottcher accused Trump of “trying to erase the very existence of trans people.” “He’s trying to cleave our community apart and divide us,” said Bottcher, whose district includes Greenwich Village and the Stonewall Inn. “He’s not going to succeed. Lesbians and gays are not going abandon our transgender siblings. We are one community.”

Later, the Q+ also disappeared. (…) Dr. Carla Smith, the chief executive of the L.G.B.T. Community Center, said in a statement that the website changes were “factually inaccurate” and “an affront to our entire community,” and she urged the Park Service to “immediately restore accurate and inclusive language.” The Stonewall Inn, a tavern on Christopher Street, has been considered a cradle of gay rights activism since a police raid there in 1969 touched off three days of protests that helped galvanize a long-marginalized population into a force for political and social change. The 7.7-acre national monument — which includes the bar, Christopher Park across the street, and several other nearby streets and sidewalks — was established under President Barack Obama in 2016. On Wednesday, according to a version of the Park Service website saved by the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine, the introductory text on the monument’s main page said: “Before the 1960s, almost everything about living openly as a lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer (LGBTQ+) person was illegal.”

Why does Trump’s Gaza plan sound so familiar? Because the Nazis tried it first

The Madagascar Plan was the Nazis’ last effort to solve the “Jewish Problem” before the Final Solution. Imagine the leader of a global superpower announcing a plan for removing an entire ethnic group from a territory they’ve long inhabited. Neighboring states would have to make land available to that superpower to resettle the displaced peoples. The refugees would “have their own administration in this territory” but they would “not acquire … citizenship” since any “sense of responsibility towards the world” would forbid making “the gift of a sovereign state” to a people “which has had no independent state for thousands of years.” No, the plan described in brief here is not President Donald Trump’s Gaza plan, proposing a United States takeover of Gaza and mass relocation of its Palestinian population. It is the so-called “Madagascar Plan,” devised by the Third Reich in 1940 to “resettle” European Jews. That plan was the Third Reich’s final major proposal for removing the Jews from the Greater Germanic Reich Adolf Hitler envisioned in Mein Kampf prior to the “Final Solution”— the indiscriminate shootings of Jewish men, women, and children on the Eastern Front, leading to mass killings in death camps and gas chambers in late 1941. In that history lies a warning: Plans for the mass relocation of a population seen as troublesome or dangerous can rapidly devolve into the loss of sovereignty, of human and civil rights, and, eventually, ethnic cleansing. The idea of creating a “colony for Jews” in Madagascar, first proposed by the antisemite Paul de Lagarde in the 1880s, had long featured prominently in plans for a territorial solution to the “Jewish Question,” namely the question of whether Jews could assimilate into society at large and, if not, what ought to be done with them.

Kanye West Flipped Off By Anti-Nazi Celebrities in AI Deepfake

Kanye West is the target of an AI campaign amidst the rapper’s latest pro-Hitler scandal. Is it the best way to combat antisemitism? No. But it’s definitely making a point. The video features unnerving mock-ups of celebrities taking a stand against Ye’s outspoken fondness for Nazi ideology. Some less discerning social media users were excited to see what looked to them like a star-studded PSA. However, it is actually a deepfake. There is a video taking off on social media featuring the likenesses of various celebrities standing up to Kanye West and his notorious antisemitic bigotry. In the video below, you can see the faces of Scarlett Johansson, Drake, Jerry Seinfeld, Mark Zuckerberg, Adam Sandler, Steven Spielberg, Mila Kunis, Ben Stiller, and David Schwimmer. The semblance of a shirt that each is wearing includes a symbol of a stylized raised middle finger, featuring a Star of David symbol and the name “KANYE” in all caps.

AfD-Veranstaltung in Freiburg Mann zeigt Hitlergruß – Tatverdächtiger identifiziert

Kanye West’s Fashion Brand Yeezy Has Website Shut Down After Reducing Stock to Nazi T-shirt

Shopify said that the brand has violated its terms; meanwhile, a former Yeezy staffer filed a suit claiming West sent antisemitic and misogynistic texts. The company hosting and fulfilling orders for Yeezy.com has removed the brand’s website after the streetwear and footwear brand, owned by Kanye West, reduced its online shop to a single T-shirt with a Nazi swastika emblazoned on the front, a representative for the brand’s hosting platform confirmed.  Shopify, the host of West’s successful brand’s e-commerce website, told The Hollywood Reporter in a statement about the removal on Tuesday morning that following the addition of the swastika shirt, the brand violated policy. “All merchants are responsible for following the rules of our platform. This merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms so we removed them from Shopify,” a spokesperson for Shopify said. The platform’s rep did not explain which rules of Shopify’s terms were violated. The website hosting and e-commerce platform’s terms of service declare that Shopify will act “to restrict products or activities that we deem unsafe, inappropriate or offensive.” Yeezy.com now sends users to a blank webpage reading “Something went wrong:” and “Store not available.” (…) Also on Tuesday, a former Yeezy employee named as a “Jane Doe,” filed a lawsuit naming the company and West, who also goes by Ye, claiming she was subjected to discrimination, harassment and retaliation because of her gender and Jewish religion.  The complaint, filed in the Superior Court of the State of California, contains multiple documented text messages to Doe and other employees using the terms “Nazi,” “Hitler,” “bitch”, “deathcon” and more, according to release about the filing sent to The Hollywood Reporter. It also states that West’s recent social media tirades against Jewish people and stunt on the Grammys red carpet, where his wife, Bianca Censori, dropped her long coat to reveal an essentially nude look, have placed his behavior — which the release says has been blamed on his autism, alcoholism and mental illness — in a new light.  “Ye waged a relentless and deliberate campaign of antisemitism and misogyny against my client. His appalling treatment of women and fixation on Nazism, evident in abusive texts where he repeatedly calls himself Hitler, expose his motives. We need to stop excusing Ye’s behavior. As a father, husband and employer, he must be held accountable. Ye dared my client to sue and we will see him in court,” Doe’s Attorney, Carney Shegerian of Shegerian & Associates, said in a statement.

What happened? This store is unavailable.” Shopify, a widely used e-commerce platform, told multiple news outlets it was responsible for the website’s removal: “All merchants are responsible for following the rules of our platform. This merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms, so we removed them from Shopify,” the company said. It’s unclear if any of the swastika shirts being sold on the website were shipped to customers in the two days they were available for purchase. Feb. 11An unnamed Jewish woman who used to work for Yeezy sued him in California superior court Tuesday, alleging she was discriminated against and harassed by West because of her sex and religion. The plaintiff, who said she worked as a marketer for Yeezy in 2024, said she was subject to antisemitic remarks, including a text reading, “Welcome to the first day of working for Hitler,” and was sent pornographic material and harassing text messages. Feb. 1033&West, a Los Angeles talent agency, dropped West as a client, and his agent, Daniel McCartney, posted to Instagram the agency was done working with West “due to his harmful and hateful remarks that myself nor 33&West can stand for.” Feb. 10After continuing to tweet throughout the weekend, the @kanyewest account on X showed no past tweets and read, “This account doesn’t exist” on Monday morning. Before the account went dark, he posted about Taylor Swift singing along to halftime performer Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show set, which included his Grammy-winning song “Not Like Us,” a diss track aimed at fellow rapper Drake that calls him a “certified pedophile.”
