Größte Bildungsmesse Europas didacta gestartet: 100 Menschen protestieren am AfD-Stand

Am Dienstag hat die Bildungsmesse didacta in Stuttgart eröffnet. Dass die AfD dort vertreten ist, hat bereits im Vorfeld massive Kritik ausgelöst. Nun kam es in der Halle zu den ersten Protesten. Bei Europas größter Bildungsmesse didacta in Stuttgart hat es am Dienstag eine lautstarke Protestaktion am Stand der AfD gegeben. Eine Gruppe von rund 100 Personen stellte sich am Mittag direkt vor dem AfD-Stand in Halle 7 auf und sang minutenlang: “Wehrt euch, leistet Widerstand, gegen den Faschismus hier im Land, haltet fest zusammen, haltet fest zusammen! (…) Unter den mehr als 700 Ausstellern sind erstmals politische Parteien. Gegen die Teilnahme der AfD gab es bereits im Vorfeld Proteste von Lehrer- und Bildungsverbänden sowie Schüler- und Elternvertretern. Auch christliche Hilfsorganisationen und der Zentralrat der Juden kritisierten, dass sich eine in Teilen rechtsextremistische Partei auf der didacta präsentiert. In Halle 7 waren zudem die CDU, die Grünen, die FDP, die Linke und Volt vertreten. Rund 100 Protestierende verdeckten für rund 20 Minuten den Stand der AfD. Danach zog die Protestgruppe weiter. Mitorganisatorin Dorothee Berres von “Teachers for Future” sagte der Katholischen Nachrichten-Agentur (KNA): “Es handelt sich um eine Graswurzelbewegung, die sich aus Ausstellern gebildet hat.” Damit wolle man gegen die Entscheidung der Veranstalter protestieren, den Stand der AfD zuzulassen. Auch die Bildungsgewerkschaft GEW und Greenpeace seien an der Aktion beteiligt. Die Aktion soll in den nächsten Tagen wiederholt werden.

Roland Kaiser ist fürs Gendern – Schlagersänger ist gegen die AfD

Roland Kaiser erlaubt sich eines: Er positioniert sich. Er bleibt weitherin stabil gegen Rechts und erkennt an: „Es gibt eben nicht nur Mann und Frau.“ Roland Kaiser kann sich was erlauben. Mit bald 75 Jahren blickt er auf ein fast monströs erfolgreiches Berufsleben: ein Schlager- und Popsänger, ein Mann, ähnlich sakrosankt wie in Frankreich einst Gilbert Bécaud. Mit frischem Gemüt singt er weiterhin in den allergrößten Arenen. Am Dresdner Elbufer feiert er jedes Jahr eine mehrtägige Party, die man beinahe als Anti-AfD-Event begreifen kann. Denn der bekennende Sozialdemokrat seit Urzeiten verkörpert das Gegenteil aller linken Klischees über miefigen Schlager: „Sieben Fässer Wein“, „Santa Maria“, „Schachmatt“ oder „Warum hast du nicht nein gesagt“ (mit Maite Kelly) sind eben nur ein karger Ausschnitt seines Werkes. Dazu kommen auch „Achtung und Respekt“ – einmal als Songtitel, einmal als Lebenseinstellung. In einem Gespräch mit der Süddeutschen Zeitung äußerte Roland Kaiser sich so nun zum Gendern: „Es gibt eben nicht nur Mann und Frau. Punkt. Menschen sind offensichtlich vielschichtiger und haben entsprechend vielschichtige Gefühle und Bedürfnisse – und die müssen wir zulassen. Auch sprachlich.“ Er selbst spreche mit Glottisschlag, aber er respektiere, wenn es andere anders tun: „Ich war immer überzeugt, dass die Freiheit eines Menschen erst dort endet, wo die Freiheit eines anderen beginnt. Warum sollte es mich eigentlich stören, wenn sich jemand als dieses oder jenes identifiziert? Ist mir doch egal. Jeder Jeck ist anders. Ende des Berichts“, so Kaiser.

PLATZVERWEISE ERTEILT – Polizei löst in Pirna Feier mit rechtsextremer Musik auf

Die Polizei hat in Pirna eine Feier in einer Garage beendet, bei der lautstark verbotene rechte Lieder gehört und mitgesungen wurden. Zuvor hatte es in der Nacht zum Sonntag Beschwerden über Ruhestörung gegeben. Die Polizei traf vor Ort auf vier Frauen und sieben Männer im Alter zwischen 16 und 54 Jahren. Die Beamten nahmen die Personalien auf und erteilten Platzverweise. Zudem behielten sie die Musikbox ein, da weiterhin Musik auf ihr abgespielt wurde. Gegen die elf Personen wird wegen des Verwendens von Kennzeichen verfassungswidriger Organisationen ermittelt.

Sonic Hate: Examining Brazil’s NSBM Scene and Its Global Networks

This Insight will discuss the Brazilian National Socialist Black Metal (NSBM) scene and its role in propagating extremist ideologies, with a focus on transnational connections. Drawing on a dataset of over 100 identified Brazilian bands (active between 1993-2024) and more than 1,000 songs, this study employs network analysis and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to understand how these groups disseminate narratives of hate and reinforce global neo-Nazi networks. National Socialist Black Metal (NSBM) is a subgenre of black metal that merges neo-Nazism and far-right ideologies with the cultural themes of black metal, such as paganism and mythology. Emerging in the 1990s, NSBM serves as an ideological tool for neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups, often incorporating ethnoracial symbolism, esoteric fascism, and Holocaust glorification in its lyrics and visuals. While its overtly racist and political nature has pushed it to the fringes of the black metal community, NSBM underscores ongoing tensions between artistic freedom and the exploitation of metal imagery by extremist ideologies. However, it is crucial to distinguish black metal as a whole from NSBM, as the broader black metal scene encompasses diverse themes, ideologies, and artistic expressions that are not necessarily aligned with far-right extremism. The temporal evolution of NSBM releases in Brazil, as illustrated in the above graph, aligns with socio-political shifts from 2010 onwards during a global resurgence of far-right ideologies. This growth reflects how neo-Nazi elements capitalised on the political climate to expand their influence. The steady production of NSBM content, despite counter-extremism efforts, highlights the resilience and adaptability of these networks, demonstrating the transnational and ideological dimensions of Brazil’s neo-Nazism within global far-right trends.

Liedermacher der „Anastasia-Bewegung“: Stolz darauf, ein Rassist zu sein

Die Anhänger der rechtsextremen „Anastasia-Bewegung“ stellen sich gern als harmlose Naturfreunde dar. Doch ihr Barde Thomas Patock lässt alle Masken fallen – und macht aus seiner rassistischen Gesinnung keinen Hehl. Es gehe doch lediglich darum, ein Leben in Einklang mit der Natur zu führen, behaupten Anhänger der sogenannten „Anastasia-Bewegung“ regelmäßig. Dank Thomas Patock kann das jetzt endgültig niemand mehr glauben. Der Liedermacher, der in der Szene als „Der König von Wedenland“ auftritt, macht keinen Hehl aus seinem Rassismus. Im Gegenteil: Er wirbt in seinen Liedern und Gedichten für die Rassenlehre. Zum Beispiel in seinem Werk „Reimmigration“. Dort heißt es, die „weißen Völker“ könnten gerettet werden, indem die Immigranten in „ihr eigenes Stammesland“ zurückkehrten. „Jeder Afrikaner erhält in Afrika ein Hektar Land“, schlägt Patock vor. Dort könnten sie dann Landwirtschaft betreiben. Auf Außenstehende wirkt Thomas Patock wie ein friedliebender, womöglich leicht verstrahlter Lebenskünstler. In einem Video auf seinem Youtube-Kanal präsentiert er sich, wie er entspannt am Sandstrand sitzt und auf seiner Wandergitarre spielt. Es ist ein starker Kontrast zu seinen volksverhetzenden Texten. (…) Patock betreibe Geschichtsrevisionismus und beziehe sich immer wieder auf bekannte Holocaustleugner, sagt Duwe. Gleichzeitig vertrete der Barde auch Reichsbürgerideologien: „Er lehnt die Bundesrepublik ab und glaubt, dass das Deutsche Reich fortbestehe.“ Laut Duwe handelt es sich bei Thomas Patock um eine „wichtige Figur in der Anastasia-Bewegung“ sowie um einen „Multiplikator“. Die bedeutendste regelmäßige Publikation der Szene, das Magazin „Garten Weden“, habe Patock etwa als einen Akteur gelobt, der die „Energie“ der Anastasia-Bücher weitergetragen und so „andere angesteckt“ habe.

Secret neo-Nazi event near Budapest raided by police and tax authority

A neo-Nazi party was held in a warehouse in Budaörs on 21 December last year. The location was kept secret by the organisers until the very last minute. The property was rented under the cover of the Nordic Sun Cultural Foundation supposedly to shoot a film, Telex has learned. However, the conspiracy did not work out too well, as in the end, not only did neo-Nazis from abroad show up but so did dozens of police officers, as well as officials of the National Tax Authority and the local government office. A concert with anti-Semitic bands As reported by Telex last autumn, Nordic Sun Records Budapest (NSRB), an unregistered label organised a neo-Nazi concert for the longest night of the year, 21 December. Tickets for the concert were only available in advance, but the exact venue was not disclosed by the organisers. Those who purchased tickets were later notified by email of the secret location. The NSRB invited two anti-Semitic bands from abroad to the concert. One was a band called Der Stürmer. They are a black metal band from Greece and represent the so-called NSBM (National Socialist Black Metal) movement. It is a subgenre of black metal that openly promotes national socialism, neo-Nazi ideas and racist, anti-Semitic views in its music. The other band chosen to perform was Sunwheel, a Polish black metal band also associated with the NSBM movement. When the concert was being organised, it seemed that it would take place in Budapest, but in the end, the organisers decided on a venue in Budaörs, just outside the capital. The warehouse in Budaörs was rented by the Nordic Sun Cultural Foundation. The Nordic Sun Cultural Foundation is also behind Nordic Sun Records Budapest, which actually organised the concert. The foundation, which was registered a few years ago and with a headquarter in the village of Nagybörzsöny, seemingly hasn’t got anything to do with the far right, although it is closely linked to the Hungarian branch of the international Blood & Honour far-right neo-Nazi network, Blood & Honour Hungária. Blood & Honour is a neo-Nazi music promotion network and far-right political group founded in the UK by one of the first skinheads, Ian Stuart Donaldson, a Briton, in the 1980s. The organisation is banned in several countries (Germany, Spain, Russia and Canada). The British government imposed financial sanctions on the organisation in January this year under the anti-terrorism legislation. The asset freeze was extended to all associated groups. Under the sanctions, no one in the UK is allowed to provide funding or financial services to the named organisations.
