(Name geändert) am Ende der Verhandlung plötzlich mit sehr fester Stimme. „Ich bin seit 30 Jahren bei der Polizei, ich bitte um eine zweite Chance.“ Die hat sie nicht bekommen: Die Disziplinarkammer des Verwaltungsgerichts urteilte, dass die Beamtin zu entlassen sei. Die 58-Jährige habe sich die „absurden und kruden Ideologien“ von Verschwörungsschwurblern und Reichsbürgern zu eigen gemacht. Entsprechende Chats, Flyer, Mails auf dem Dienstrechner oder Aussagen gegenüber Kolleginnen untermauerten dies. „Es ist zu viel da, um zu einer anderen Meinung zu gelangen“, erklärt die Vorsitzende Richterin. (…) Das Gericht und auch der Freistaat Bayern, der die Disziplinarklage eingereicht hat, werden in ihren Ausführungen deutlicher. Da geht es beispielsweise um ein Video, das man bei Brigitte T. fand, in dem behauptet wird, Hitler habe nur Frieden gewollt. Oder Chats, die die Polizistin erhielt, versendete oder speicherte, mit Verschwörungstheorien, etwa dass mit der Impfung gegen Covid gezielt Menschen getötet werden sollten, um die Bevölkerung zu reduzieren. Oder, dass das Wetter manipuliert werde, um Überflutungen zu erzeugen. Im Drucker auf ihrer Dienststelle fand man Blätter mit Reichsbürger-Gedankengut, etwa, dass die Bundesrepublik eine Firma sei. In ihrer Wohnung stellten die Polizeikollegen kistenweise Flyer sicher, ebenfalls mit kruden Theorien bedruckt. Auch im Streifendienst soll Brigitte T. ihre wirren Gedanken geäußert haben. Zu einer Kollegin sagte sie laut Gericht über Angela Merkel: „Gib mir eine MP, ich geh’ hin und erschieß’ sie.“ „Es gibt so viele Fake-News, wo ich mir nicht anmaße, das von der Wahrheit zu unterscheiden“, erklärt die suspendierte Beamtin. Sie wisse auch nicht, ob das andere könnten. „Stimmt es oder nicht, ich kann das definitiv nicht unterscheiden.“ Eine Aussage, die der Juristin des Polizeipräsidiums München eine Steilvorlage liefert: „Sie ist eine Polizeivollzugsbeamtin, da weiß man, was eine Ideologie ist.“ Die Beamtin habe sich in ihrer Befragung bei der Polizei nicht klar von der Reichsbürger-Ideologie distanziert. „Und auch heute kommt kein klares Bekenntnis zur Verfassung.“ Gerade dies sei für eine Polizistin eine Kernpflicht: sich zum Grundgesetz zu bekennen und die Gesetze durchzusetzen. „Es kann ja nicht verboten sein, sich zu informieren“, versucht die Anwältin von T. einzugrätschen. Man habe hier eine rasante Entwicklung in kurzer Zeit, antwortet die Richterin. Von Coronathesen zu Verschwörungstheorien und zu den Reichsbürgern. „Es mag eine Verunsicherung gegeben haben damals“, sagt sie, aber die Polizistin sei die weiteren Schritte bis zu den Reichsbürgern gegangen.

The leader of a mosque where a Hitler-inspired teenager was plotting a massacre has told Sky News of the moment the boy pretended to convert to Islam to gain access, weeks before a terror attack which police prevented. The boy, who was 16 years old at the time, idolised the Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik and was caught by detectives as he made his way to burn down the Inverclyde Muslim Centre in Greenock in January. He was hoping the mosque, which has a capacity of 275 worshippers, would be full. It is understood the teen had boasted online about his plans to livestream the attack after becoming radicalised on social media aged 13. The youth, who was dressed in black and carrying an air rifle, had successfully hoodwinked the imam that he was serious about switching religion. The young neo-Nazi, who cannot be legally identified because of his age, was left alone to film and draw sketches of the areas where his victims, including children, would be trapped as the planned firebomb attack unfolded. Elon Musk’s X, Grok Under New Investigation: ‘Violent, Unacceptable’

The European Commission has opened an investigation into X, Elon Musk’s social media platform, and the AI chatbot Grok over the alleged creation of sexually explicit deepfake images of women and children. Musk said previously that he had seen “literally zero” evidence that Grok had created nude images of children. “Sexual deepfakes of women and children are a violent, unacceptable form of degradation,” Henna Virkkunen, the executive vice president for tech sovereignty, security and democracy at the European Commission, said in a statement. The commission also said it had extended a separate probe into X of its recommendations algorithm. Opened in 2023, that probe has so far resulted in a 120 million euro (then-$140 million) fine in December for breaches of the transparency requirements. Both probes fall under the European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA), which regulates technology companies in the bloc. If the commission finds against them, Musk’s companies could face large fines and other enforcement actions. (…) On January 14, Musk addressed some of the criticism about Grok’s alleged creation of nude images of children and women. He wrote on X, “I not aware of any naked underage images generated by Grok. Literally zero.” “Obviously, Grok does not spontaneously generate images, it does so only according to user requests,” Musk added. He continued: “When asked to generate images, it will refuse to produce anything illegal, as the operating principle for Grok is to obey the laws of any given country or state. There may be times when adversarial hacking of Grok prompts does something unexpected. If that happens, we fix the bug immediately.”

The European probe comes after UK media regulator Ofcom opened a formal investigation into Grok, while Malaysia and Indonesia have banned the chatbot altogether. Following the backlash, xAI restricted the use of Grok to paying subscribers and said it has “implemented technological measures” to limit Grok from generating certain sexualized images. Eight men linked to a violent racist skinhead group are in jail in the U.S. South on felony conspiracy charges or awaiting extradition for hate crimes against Jewish and LGBTQ+ targets, Raw Story has learned. Five North Carolina men, ranging in age from 18 to 22 and described in court filings as “supporters of the Vinlanders Social Club/Firm 22 and members of the Southern Sons, all known white supremacist/nazi groups,” were arrested on Jan. 21 and booked into the Mecklenburg County Detention Center in Charlotte, N.C. Court documents suggest charges may follow for three others detained outside North Carolina. Founded in 2003, Vinlanders Social Club earned a reputation as one of the most violent racist skinhead groups in the U.S., linked to at least four murders. It declined in the early 2010s but extremism researchers were alarmed last fall when the group began to show signs of resurgence. Southern Sons emerged in late 2021 as a neo-Nazi group seeking to recruit members in the Carolinas and Georgia. The group was co-founded by David William Fair, who stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021 as a juvenile, alongside his mother. Previously known as Southern Sons Active Club, Fair’s group has worked with other far-right groups including Patriot Front and Aryan Freedom Network. Now, Southern Sons has become increasingly aligned with Vinlanders Social Club. A review of Southern Sons’s Telegram channel indicates the group has been largely absorbed. For example, a message posted by Vinlanders and forwarded by Southern Sons last May shows 11 men with Vinlanders and swastika flags giving Hitler salutes outside a Confederate memorabilia shop in South Carolina. The caption reads: “Vinlanders Social Club Supporters and Probates Firm 22-Southern Sons at Dixie Fest 2025.” A propaganda video posted last September on the Southern Sons channel, highlighting the murder in August of Iryna Zarutska by a mentally disturbed man on the Charlotte light rail, directs prospective members to the Vinlanders website.

Five of the 37 alleged members of the neo-Nazi group 1143, dismantled on Tuesday by the Judiciary Police (PJ), will await the outcome of the investigation in pre-trial detention, the Central Criminal Court decided today. The remaining 32 defendants, which will include Rui Roque from the Algarve, one of the 37 people arrested a few days ago.Of those released, 29 were required to report to the police station weekly, while three were released only with a summons to provide their identity and address, the court indicated in a statement. Twenty-eight of the 29 defendants required to report to the police station on Saturdays are also prohibited from contacting each other and the five suspects held in pre-trial detention. Of the five defendants in pre-trial detention, four allegedly assaulted two Indian immigrants at the Aveiras service area on the A1 motorway on October 5, 2025, according to the indictment issued by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, which Lusa had access to, and one allegedly assaulted a member of the group that demonstrated in response to a rally by the far-right party Ergue-te, in Largo de São Domingos, Lisbon, on April 25, 2025. According to the PJ (Judicial Police), 37 people were arrested on Tuesday in operation “Brotherhood”, and another 15 were formally charged, on suspicion of committing the crimes of discrimination and incitement to hatred and violence, aggravated threats and coercion, aggravated assault, and possession of a prohibited weapon. The Public Prosecutor’s Office alleges that the 1143 group was preparing to take on a paramilitary nature in anticipation of a possible “race war” and was organizing two actions for 2026 involving insults against the Prophet Muhammad to provoke negative or even violent reactions from the Muslim community in Portugal. The group was allegedly led by Mário Machado, including from prison, where he has been serving a sentence since May 2025 in another case, for discrimination and incitement to hatred and violence.

Die Begegnung wird gefilmt, das Video steht auf der Facebook-Seite eines niedersächsischen AfD-Kreisverbandes mit rund 5.000 Followern. Beleidigungen und Hass „Tanzen können sie – mehr oder weniger. Aber ein vernünftiges Gespräch führen? Fehlanzeige”, betitelt der Kreisverband das Video. Innerhalb kurzer Zeit sammeln sich über 4.000 Kommentare. Viele davon sind keine Kritik, sondern blanker Hass. Beleidigungen, sexualisierte Beschimpfungen, Entmenschlichungen. One recording, from a chilling online chatroom, appeared to show a man being offered £5000 ($10,000 AUD) to rent a van and kidnap Albanese so his government could be replaced with a new “nationalist” regime. The internet group, which was filled with far-right users, was set up by the organisers of a white nationalist protest against apparent mass immigration to Australia, called March for Australia. Leaked messages, from the Discord group, reportedly showed one person, who went by the username “cav” suggesting the horrific plot to the sick group, according to the Sydney Morning Herald. He wrote: “I genuinely believe the best option is to is literally to fing grab him [Albanese] and put him in a room and force him to answer like every possible fing question.” When asked if he was “actually going to do it” by another member, cav added: “I would, yeah. And if anyone wants to … like rent the van and help fing come grab him with me. Like, yeah, let’s go.” Another person in the forum appeared to offer cav £5,000 ($10,000 AUD) to carry out the terrifying plan, according to leaked messages. In another chilling message, cav wrote: “I’ve crossed into the fing realm of terrorism, bro.… The only way I would take power is through force.” (…) Police arrested plumber Nathan Ballesty, 27, following a separate investigation on a different social media post about allegedly kidnapping the Prime Minister. Police did not reveal whether these two cases were related or whether he was a member of the Discord group. The plumber has been photographed with neo-Nazis at events and is an associate of a neo-Nazi group called the National Socialist Network.

Police are investigating, and they did not say if the cases are believed to be related.
