Für Volksverhetzung und die Leugnung des Holocausts plädierte der Staatsanwalt am Freitag vor dem Mannheimer Landgericht auf eine Geldstrafe von 100 Tagessätzen à 15 Euro. Die Verteidigung verlangte nur eine anderthalbjährige Bewährungsstrafe sowie eine Geldstrafe von 50 Tagessätzen à fünf Euro. Vorausgegangen war eine Verständigung zwischen den Parteien auf eine mildere Strafe im Gegenzug für ein Geständnis.

67-Jähriger musste sich nach dem Besuch einer Corona-Demo wegen gefährlicher Körperverletzung vor dem Amtsgericht verantworten. Eine Demo gegen die Corona-Maßnahmen im März 2021. Viele Menschen strömen Richtung Wiesental. Zahlreiche Polizisten sind dort. Plötzlich erschallen laute Rufe an der Zufahrt, es wird hektisch: “Anhalten! Halten Sie an!” Im abgesperrten Bereich rangiert ein Auto, bleibt schließlich stehen. Darin sitzt ein älteres Paar. Stoisch, der Fahrer wohl mit einer Art “Tunnelblick”. Sie weigern sich, auszusteigen. Polizisten reden auf sie ein. (…) Der 66-Jährige aus der Region, der jetzt vor dem Amtsgericht saß, hatte mit der Stoßstange seines Autos das Knie eines Polizisten berührt. Der Beamte erlitt laut seiner Ärztin eine Prellung, ließ sich vier Tage krankschreiben. Im Kuddelmuddel eilten zwei Kollegen dazu: Die Frau musste, um sich zu retten, wohl “mit einem Satz” zur Seite springen, als der Rentner rückwärts fuhr, während sie und der dritte Polizist das Nummernschild erfassen wollten. Ihnen passierte nichts. (…) Warum er nicht ausgestiegen ist, wollte Richterin Bärbel Hönes wissen: Der Rentner habe sich gesorgt, dass die Polizisten “uns mit dem Gesicht auf den Boden knallen”. Aus einer Gruppe heraus sei der Polizist regelrecht ins Auto hineingesprungen und habe auf die Motorhaube getrommelt, als das Paar den Wagen auf einer Grünfläche zwischen Stadthalle und Katharinenstift habe abstellen wollen. Die Polizisten schildern es anders: Es seien Absperrungen und Befehle ignoriert und der Beamte sei bewusst und “mit Augenkontakt” gerammt worden. Einmal sei auch “die Faust geballt”, dann seien mit dem Auto gefährliche “Fluchtversuche” unternommen worden. 14 Monate Haft, auszusetzen zur Bewährung, drei Monate Fahrverbot, außerdem 2000 Euro Geldstrafe forderte der Staatsanwalt. Verdächtiger hatte schon 2004 auf Mensch geschossen

Der Verdächtige im mutmaßlichen Doppelmord an den beiden Polizisten, Andreas S., hat bereits bei einer Jagd 2004 auf einen Menschen geschossen. Darüber informierte die Staatsanwaltschaft Saarbrücken am Donnerstag auf Anfrage. Demnach hatte er fahrlässig einen Jagdkollegen im Hals- und Brustbereich sowie am Auge schwer verletzt. Das Landgericht Saarbrücken verurteilte ihn 2006 daraufhin wegen fahrlässiger Körperverletzung rechtskräftig zu einer Geldstrafe von 90 Tagessätzen zu je 50 Euro. Diese Verurteilung ist laut Behörde im Bundeszentralregister bereits gelöscht, weshalb er Stand heute als nicht vorbestraft gilt. Dies hatte auch die Staatsanwaltschaft Kaiserslautern am Dienstag erklärt.

A caller who threatened to blow up a historically Black university in Florida — one of numerous threats made against schools across the nation — described an elaborate plot involving seven bombs hidden in duffel bags and backpacks around the school’s perimeter, a Florida police chief said. In a 20-minute phone call, the caller said the bombs containing C-4 explosives would be detonated at Bethune-Cookman University on Monday, Daytona Beach Police Chief Jakari Young said at a news conference. The caller also said a gunman would open fire on the campus around lunchtime the same day, Young said. At least a half-dozen historically Black universities in five states and the District of Columbia received bomb threats Monday, and at least a dozen more schools received such threats on Tuesday. Many of the schools locked down their campuses for a time. Authorities found no bombs after extensive searches. (…) In Florida, Young said the caller with whom he spoke claimed to be affiliated with the neo-Nazi group Atomwaffen Division. In May, a federal judge in Virginia sentenced former Atomwaffen Division leader John Cameron Denton to more than three years in prison for his role in a conspiracy to make bogus bomb threats and 911 calls to over 100 targets, including a Black church. Others charged in the “swatting” scheme were affiliated with or expressed sympathy for the group. Oren Segal, vice president of the Anti-Defamation League’s Center on Extremism, said he is “reserving judgment” for now on whether Atomwaffen is connected to the bomb threat investigation. “Does that fit the Atomwaffen bill? It does. In other ways, it could be people who have no affiliation with Atomwaffen but are using it because they know it will create shock value,” Segal said. “I just think it’s too early to tell.”

Media2Rise Propagandist Identified as Montana Neo-Nazi

Hatewatch has identified “Lucca Corgiat,” an on-air presenter for the far-right propaganda outfit Media2Rise, as Allen Michael Goff, 29, of Billings, Montana. The discovery connects Goff’s work for the propaganda arm of Will2Rise, a white nationalist hate group, with his decade-long history as an active and violent participant in Montana’s white power movement. Goff is one member of a three-person team at Media2Rise, alongside camera operator Graham Whitson and the organization’s founder, Robert Rundo, who currently faces federal rioting charges for his alleged role in a series of violent attacks at rallies in 2017. Media2Rise is one of the most prominent and sophisticated propaganda organs for the white power movement, producing high-quality documentaries that celebrate white power groups and introduce viewers to the “nationalist lifestyle.”
In recent months, Goff, under his Lucca Corgiat alias, has become the main face of the outfit. Unmasking Lucca Corgiat Hatewatch established Goff’s identity using the register of visitors to the Waukesha County Jail between Nov. 24, 2021, and Dec. 3, 2021, which was obtained with a public records request. The request followed a Dec. 8 announcement on Media2Rise’s Telegram channel that they had “teamed up with National Justice to launch an investigation” into the vehicular attack on a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin on Nov. 21, 2021. National Justice is a white nationalist website whose founder, Joseph Jordan, writes under the alias Eric Striker. Both Media2Rise and National Justice have spread the conspiracy theory that the incident was an act of “anti-white terrorism.” In the video trailer that accompanied the Dec. 8 post, Media2Rise included footage of a jail interview with Darrell E. Brooks, who is accused of carrying out the attack.

The convoy, which reached the Canadian capital of Ottawa on January 30, has raised $10 million Canadian dollars on GoFundMe. According to the fundraiser the money will be used for “the costs of fuel first, and hopefully food and lodgings.” Online neo-Nazis, white supremacists, conspiracy theorists, militia groups and other antigovernment extremists have shown support for the convoy both inside Canada on the ground and online. Some have called for the death of Prime Minister Trudeau, President Joe Biden, and other prominent government officials and businesspeople. Others have also called for similar convoys to be established in other countries such as Finland, Brazil, the United States, The Netherlands, and across Europe. #Mutterstadt: Randalierender Ex-#AfD-Politiker kommt vor #Gericht

Die Randale eines ehemaligen AfD-Politikers vor einer Kreistagssitzung in Mutterstadt (Rhein-Pfalz-Kreis) im Juni hat ein juristisches Nachspiel: Weil der Mann seine Geldstrafe nicht bezahlt hat, kommt es nun zum Prozess. Wegen Körperverletzung, Beleidigung und Sachbeschädigung hatte die Staatsanwaltschaft Frankenthal im November gegen den ehemaligen AfD-Politiker einen Strafbefehl von mehreren tausend Euro beantragt. Er hatte den Bürgermeister von Mutterstadt Hans-Dieter Schneider (SPD) angegriffen und verletzt. Laut Staatsanwaltschaft hat der Ex-AfD-Politiker die Strafe aber nicht bezahlt, sein Anwalt Einspruch gegen den Strafbefehl erhoben. Deswegen wird der Fall nun Mitte April am Amtsgericht in Ludwigshafen verhandelt. Die Polizei hatte bereits unmittelbar nach der Tat ein Strafverfahren eingeleitet. Auch die Verwaltung des Rhein-Pfalz-Kreises hatte Strafantrag gegen den Angreifer gestellt.
