Dezember 2022 hatte der Stadtrat einstimmig beschlossen, das Institut für Zeitgeschichte damit zu betrauen, die Zeit zwischen 1920 und 1950 in Mindelheim aufarbeiten zu lassen. Dass die Arbeit, die auf drei Jahre angelegt ist, 344.000 Euro kosten werde, war damals bekannt. Nun fordert der AfD-Stadtrat Christian Sedlmeir, das Vorhaben zu beerdigen – obwohl er damals ebenfalls für den Antrag gestimmt hatte. Stadtrat Sedlmeir argumentiert mit den hohen Kosten Sedlmeir argumentierte nun, ihm sei zum damaligen Zeitpunkt nicht bewusst gewesen, in welch angespannter Haushaltslage sich die Stadt Mindelheim befinde. “Wären mir die Zahlen schon bekannt gewesen, hätte ich damals, aufgrund der hohen Kosten, nicht dafür gestimmt”, so Sedlmeir in seinem an die Stadt gerichteten Antrag.

The 20 men gathered at a Melbourne branch of The Bavarian, a family-friendly chain of eateries in Australia on Thursday (April 20). The posse was reportedly seen performing Nazi salutes at the venue at Westfield Knox Shopping Centre in what has been branded a “brazen” display allegedly to mark the Austrian-born dictator’s 134th birthday. “It is understood a group of people performed a Nazi salute at a venue on Burwood Highway and were asked to leave about 8.45pm,” a spokesperson for Victoria Police said. “Police moved the group on, and no offences were identified.” Photos showed about 20 men, including the leader of the National Socialist Network Thomas Sewell, performing a Nazi salute at the German-themed restaurant. They were also carrying a portrait of the German warmonger and two balloons with the letters HH, allegedly standing for “Heil Hitler”. Leaked correspondence from the social media app Telegram showed Dr Sewell, who also leads the European Australian Movement, claiming the group had a “great and eventful night”.

Dieser Satz ist der Wahlspruch der damaligen NS-Organisation SA. Der sachsen-anhaltische Grünenchef Sebastian Striegel hatte laut eigenen Angaben am 8. Juni 2021 Strafanzeige gegen Höcke erstattet – wegen des Verwendens von Kennzeichen verfassungswidriger Organisationen. Die Immunität Höckes, der auch Thüringer Landesparteichef ist, war wegen der Ermittlungen zu dem Fall bereits 2021 aufgehoben worden. Die Staatsanwaltschaft Halle bestätigte, dass sie sich nun noch einmal an den Landtag gewandt hat. Ob es bei dem Anliegen um eine beabsichtigte Anklage geht, ließ ein Sprecher offen. Aus Kreisen der Landtagsfraktionen hieß es, die Staatsanwaltschaft wolle Anklage erheben. Troubled banking giant Credit Suisse is facing fresh allegations that it has not fully resolved a quarter-century after it agreed to participate in a $1.25 billion settlement of Holocaust survivor lawsuits informed of the extent of his historic help to Nazis. The Senate Budget Committee on Tuesday released two reports it obtained from an investigation commissioned by Credit Suisse into banking activities by German Nazis who went to Argentina in the 1930s. One of the reports was written by Neil M. Barofsky, a lawyer hired by the bank to oversee the investigation, but who was fired in November after the scope was expanded to include Nazis who left Europe at the end of World War II had fled. The committee obtained a copy of the report after issuing a subpoena for it last month, when Credit Suisse was on the brink of collapse. “Credit Suisse’s decision to drop its investigation midway has left many questions unanswered, including questions about the thoroughness of its previous investigative efforts, the extent to which they served Nazi interests, and the bank’s role in serving Nazis who… fleeing justice after the war,” he said. Barofsky wrote. The dispute shows that eight decades after World War II, understanding of how Swiss banks funded Nazis is still incomplete. Am 16.04.2023 gegen 11:45 Uhr meldete sich der Pastor der Evangelischen Kirchgemeinde Löcknitz bei der Polizei in Pasewalk und teilte mit, dass die Eingangstür der Kirche in der Marktstraße mit rechten Symbolen und Schriften besprüht wurde. Bei Eintreffen der eingesetzten Polizeibeamten stellten diese fest, dass sich an der Haupteingangstür der Kirche ein 40cm x 40cm großes, in schwarzer Farbe gesprühtes Hakenkreuz befand. Über das Hakenkreuz hatten der oder die unbekannten Täter den Schriftzug “Hängt Juda” in den Abmaßen 107cm x 130cm, ebenfalls mit schwarzer Farbe gesprüht. Anzeige wegen der Verwendung verfassungsfeindlicher Symbole, des Verdachtes der Volksverhetzung und Gemeinschädlicher Sachbeschädigung wurden aufgenommen.
