Der taz liegen Chats des AfD-Kandidaten Sebastian Ruth vor. Der 20-Jährige leitete eine Telegram-Gruppe, in der gefordert wurde, „Asylheime anzuzünden“. Die extrem rechte AfD hat im Superwahljahr eine Menge Sorgen. Erst bricht in Sachsen-Anhalt eine Schlammschlacht aus, in deren Zuge die innerhalb der Partei offenbar weit verbreitete Vetternwirtschaft bekannt wird. Dann erfassen die Korruptionsvorwürfe auch den baden-württembergischen Spitzenkandidaten Markus Frohnmaier, weil dessen Frau im Bundestagsbüro eines Parteifreunds beschäftigt ist. Zudem wurde nun auch noch bekannt, dass sein Vater bei der Abgeordneten Diana Zimmer tätig ist – die zugleich Frohnmaiers Wahlkampf leitet. Frohnmaier findet all dies nicht anstößig, verschwand aber dennoch in der heißesten Wahlkampfphase zum Kontakteknüpfen in die USA. Was über den ganzen Filzvorwürfen derzeit ein wenig untergeht: Wie extrem rechts eigentlich die AfD und ihre Kandidaten sind. Der taz liegen jetzt interne Chats des Direktkandidaten Sebastian Ruth vor, der unter dem Pseudonym „Sozialpatriotische Bewegung“ eine gleichnamige Chatgruppe mit rund 300 teils minderjährigen Mitgliedern verwaltete. In der Gruppe lässt sich nachvollziehen, wie junge Rechtsradikale sich gegenseitig anfeuern und aufstacheln, nachdem sie sich bei Tiktok vernetzt haben. Die Chatgruppe besteht heute nicht mehr. Die Screenshots und Inhalte wurden der taz von einem antifaschistischen Recherchekollektiv zur Verfügung gestellt. Der 20-jährige Ruth kandidiert für die AfD in Freiburg und posiert mit akkuratem Szenescheitel auf seinem X-Profil neben dem extrem rechten Kampfbegriff „Remigration“. Dem Profil zufolge findet er Parolen wie „Heil Höcke digga“ witzig. Er benutzt andauernd die „White Power“-Geste und fordert die millionenfache Remigration von Muslimen. Zugleich versucht er, sich selbst in der Lokalpresse zu verharmlosen. Überregional trat er mangels Reichweite bisher nicht wirklich in Erscheinung. Politisiert hat er sich nach eigenen Angaben während der Coronapandemie, mittlerweile ist er auch Beisitzer im Kreisvorstand Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald. Die der taz vorliegenden Chats bieten genauere Einblicke in seine politische Sozialisation und Radikalisierung. Im Chatverlauf offenbarte Ruth seinen Klarnamen. Der taz bestätigte er auf Anfrage, dass er sich bis vor drei Jahren tatsächlich dort ausgetauscht hatte. „Judentum politisch schwierig“ Die Inhalte der Gruppe sind durchaus radikal: Über die Reichsfarben schreibt Ruth dort: „Ich weiß, Schwarz-Weiß-Rot hat seinen Charme, aber es ist schädlich für die Außenwirkung.“ Er sehe sich selbst als sozialpatriotisch, was allerdings nicht nationalsozialistisch heißen soll – er wolle das Eigene lieben und nicht das Andere hassen. Er respektiere auch in „spiritueller Form alle Religionen“, finde aber im Politischen „sowohl das Judentum als auch den Islam schwierig“. Neben Antisemitismus sind auch Rassismus und Sexismus selbstverständlich Teil des Chats: Männer hält man für grundsätzlich gebildeter, Frauen für beeinflussbar. Sexismus wird nur als Problem wahrgenommen, wenn er von migrantisierten Männern kommt. Beispielsweise beschwert sich ein Teilnehmer darüber, dass seine Schwester habe umziehen müssen, da sie „aufgrund dem neuen Asylantenheim“ (Fehler im Original, d. Red.) ihre Wohnung nicht mehr habe verlassen können. Darüber hinaus sei man sich einig, dass man Frauen respektieren und ehren sollte „und nicht ihr Leben zerstören“. Ruth schränkt ein: „Gibt Frauen, bei denen würde ich eine Ausnahme machen“, schreibt er mit einem Tränenlachsmiley. Ein anderer User meint dazu: „Die Asylheime gehören abgerissen und angezündet.“ Ein anderer User teilt eine Fotomontage, auf der ein Flugzeug mit dem Logo des Gruppenchats auf nach Mekka gepilgerte Muslime abstürzt. Der extrem rechte Verschwörungsmythos des großen Austauschs wird als „belegter Fakt“ bezeichnet. Interessant ist auch: Damals ist Ruth noch nicht vom Erfolg der AfD überzeugt. „Die AfD wird ohnehin untergehen“, schreibt er.

The chat, named after a mythical all-white Nazi civilization, was started by the secretary of Miami-Dade County’s Republican Party and included the president of the Florida International University Turning Point USA chapter. Seriously, what is it with Republicans and their Nazi-loving group chats? A group chat started by Abel Carvajal, the secretary of Miami-Dade County’s Republican Party, for conservative college students at Florida International University quickly devolved into a breeding ground for moral depravity, the Miami Herald reported Wednesday. Carvajal said he created the group after Charlie Kirk was killed in September. Members of the group chat made violent and racist remarks about Black people, using variations of the n-word more than 400 times, as well as using slurs when discussing Jewish and gay people, and regularly called women “whores.” Dariel Gonzalez, a former board member of FIU’s College Republicans, was responsible for a large chunk of racist and antisemitic comments. “Ew you had colored professors?!” he wrote at one point, adding that he personally refused “to be indoctrinated by the coloreds.” Gonzalez also used slurs to discuss Jewish people. “You can f–k all the k—s you want. Just don’t marry them and procreate,” he said. Ian Valdes, the president of FIU’s chapter of Turning Point USA, responded, “I would def not marry a Jew.” In another message, Valdes called for a “moratorium on immigration” unless it was a person from a first-world country, before clarifying: “Yeah I obviously mean whites.” Valdes renamed the group chat from “Uber R—s Yapping Inc.” (using a slur to refer to people with mental disabilities) to “Gooning in Agartha.” “Gooning” refers to the ritual of continual masturbation performed by some internet-poisoned individuals, and “Agartha” is a mythical civilization at the center of the earth, where white nationalists have imagined a white master race originates. In the chat, Valdes described Agartha as “esoteric nazism essentially,” and Gonzalez described Agartha as “Nazi heaven sort of.” At one point, Gonzalez wrote a message that simply said: “Total negro death.” William Bejerano, who once tried to start a pro-life group at Miami-Dade College, then launched into a lengthy n-word-laced tirade of ways to kill Black people, including crucifying, beheading, exterminating, and curb-stomping. Students for Life in America previously published an essay in which Bejerano decried limits on free speech at his school—but has since removed it. Carvajal occasionally participated in the conversation, and even deleted others’ messages, but never shut the group chat down. He even recruited some of the group’s extremist members to serve as committee members in the Miami-Dade GOP

Participants also included Florida International University’s Turning Point USA chapter president and the former College Republicans recruitment chair. The logs showed that Carvajal participated occasionally and deleted some messages, but did not shut the chat down. One member of the chat, identified as William Bejerano, “posted a block of text calling for dozens of acts of extreme violence against Black people, who he referred to using the n-word, including crucifying, beheading and dissecting people,” according to the Miami Herald. Dariel Gonzalez, the College Republicans’ recruitment chair, told group members to “avoid the coloreds like the plague.” Group chat members referred to women as “w**s” and, at one point, used an antisemitic slur to refer to women they avoid. Gonzalez said, “You can fk all the [k-word] you want. Just don’t marry them and procreate.” To which Ian Valdes, the TPUSA chapter president, said, “I would def not marry a Jew,” according to the Miami Herald. Valdes changed the chat’s name to refer to Agartha, a mythical white utopia promoted by Nazi politician Heinrich Himmler. Gonzalez described Agartha to the chat as, “Nazi heaven sort of.”
