Welle rechtsextremer Übergriffe in Wien – #terror

Zeitgleich taucht eine neue Neonazi-Generation auf. Kennzeichen: sehr jung und auf Gewalt fixiert. Ein verwüstetes Lokal der Sozialistischen Jugend, Hakenkreuzschmierereien, ein Übergriff auf einen orthodoxen Juden oder Neonazis, die auf “Antifa”-Jagd gehen oder Gäste eines queeren Cafés bedrohen: In Wien kommt es seit einigen Monaten zu einer Welle rechtsextremer Überfälle und Provokationen. Parallel dazu taucht eine neue Generation von Rechtsextremen auf. Sie tragen Bomberjacken, Stiefel und Glatze, nennen sich “Defend Austria”, sind auffallend jung, und ihr ganzes Gehabe ist auf Gewalt ausgerichtet. Aus dem Schatten trat diese neue Generation von Rechtsextremen erstmals im Sommer des vergangenen Jahres. Schwarz vermummt marschierten sie bei der “Remigrationsdemo” der Identitären in Wien mit. Samt “Defend Austria”-Transparent. Mobilisierung im Netz Zeitgleich legten sie auf Telegram, Tiktok, X und Instagram los. Rassismus und Hetze gegen queere Personen ist auf ihren Kanälen und in ihren internen Chats ebenso zu finden wie Mobilisierungsaufrufe, Drohungen und Gewaltfantasien gegen Antifaschisten und Antifaschistinnen. Das kommt offensichtlich an. Binnen weniger Wochen konnten sie weit über 1000 Follower auf Tiktok und Telegram einsammeln, darunter auch Minderjährige. (…) Die extrem hohe Gewaltaffinität der Gruppe zeigte sich nicht nur bei der Gefolgschaft im Netz, die auf Instagram mit Sturmgewehren sowie der SS-Symbolik posiert, sondern auch bei einer Pro-FPÖ-Demonstration Ende November in Wien. Dort rief das martialische Auftreten der “Defend Austria”-Aktivisten und -Aktivistinnen die Polizei auf den Plan, bei Durchsuchungen wurden unter anderem mehrere Messer und eine Schreckschusspistole bei ihnen gefunden. Dabei war auch der Wortführer der Gruppe, der sich im Netz “Alphois” nennt.

Daniela Rüther: Wenn man betrachtet, welche Themen die AfD im Bundestag wie auch in den Landesparlamenten regelmäßig auf die Agenda bringt, dann bekommt man unweigerlich den Eindruck, dass sie sexbesessen ist. Ganz häufig geht es um Geburtenzahlen, um Sexualaufklärung, Homosexualität – und um alles rund um Gender: Genderstudies, geschlechtersensible Sprache und so fort. Die Rechte ist im „Genderwahn“. taz: Sie haben analysiert, wie die AfD im Bundestag auftritt und festgestellt, dass die Partei dilettantisch agiert: fehlerhafte Anträge, inhaltsleere Anfragen. Woran liegt das – schlechtes Personal? Rüther: Der Grund ist eher, dass die AfD gar nicht vorhat, wie eine Oppositionspartei zu agieren, also zur Kontrolle der Regierung beizutragen oder an der demokratischen Willensbildung mitzuwirken. Sie nutzt das Parlament als Propagandabühne und versucht, Institutionen der freien Gesellschaft und der liberalen Demokratie zu destabilisieren. Rüther: Migrationsfeindlichkeit und Sexbesessenheit gehen Hand in Hand: Die AfD verfolgt eine klassisch pronatalistische Politik, sie will, dass die Deutschen mehr Kinder bekommen. Das ist ein typisches Muster völkischer Bewegungen. Ob in der historischen NSDAP oder heute bei Orbán, Putin oder Meloni: Themen von Geschlechtlichkeit und Sexualität stehen im Mittelpunkt der Politik. Mutterschaft, hierarchische Zweigeschlechtlichkeit und patriarchale Familienstrukturen bilden den ideologischen Kern, immer verbunden auch mit rassistischen Vorstellungen von der Reinheit des Volkes, die den Ausschluss von Menschen legitimiert.

‘Propaganda arm’: TikTok search glitch stokes fear over Trump’s new alliance with tech titans – #censorship

Confirmation that TikTok has changed. Censorship at its finest. This should concern you whether you voted for him or not.” On X, one person pointed out the region-specific nature of this censorship, with U.K. TikTok accounts able to access “Donald Trump rigged election” search results. As TikTok users tried their own searches and were met with similar restrictions, they accused the app of becoming “Trump’s propaganda arm.” A TikTok spokesperson told the Daily Dot that no policy had been implemented and that given the difficulties in shutting off and restoring access to U.S. users, hiccups could occur in the app’s functions. Neo-Nazis rejoice over Elon Musk’s Nazi salute at Donald Trump’s inauguration celebration

“We are so back,” wrote on well-known Holocaust denier. Only hours after Donald Trump began his second term, Elon Musk made the administration’s values crystal clear with two unequivocal Nazi salutes while speaking at an inauguration rally. “Elections come and go; some elections are important, some are not, but this one really mattered,” Musk told the crowd at DC’s Capital One Arena. “And I just want to say thank you for making it happen. Thank you.” At that, he slapped his right hand across his chest, grunted, and threw his arm straight in the air with his palm down – a clear Nazi salute. He then turned to the crowd behind him and did it again. The moment has enlivened neo-Nazis across the country who believe Musk was signaling to them. “WE ARE F**KING BACK,” wrote an administrator of a Nazi meme page on Telegram beside a clip of Musk doing the salute, according to Wired. EU-Digitalkommissarin Henna Virkkunen begrüßte am Montag das freiwillige Engagement der Plattformen gegen Hassrede und Beleidigungen im Netz, mit dem sie den Angaben zufolge über die verpflichtenden Regeln im EU-Gesetz für digitale Dienste hinausgehen. »In Europa gibt es keinen Platz für Hass, weder offline noch online«, sagte sie. Sowohl X-Inhaber Elon Musk als auch Meta-CEO Mark Zuckerberg hatten die EU-Vorgaben zuletzt noch als »Zensur« bezeichnet. Nach Angaben der Kommission unterzeichneten insgesamt zwölf Onlinedienste die freiwillige Vereinbarung, darunter neben X und den Meta-Diensten Facebook und Instagram auch YouTube und TikTok sowie das zu Microsoft gehörende Karrierenetzwerk LinkedIn.
