24 Jahre nach Release ist „Return to Castle Wolfenstein“ in Deutschland nicht mehr indiziert. In den Spiele-Stores gibt es den Ego-Shooter aber noch nicht. „Return to Castle Wolfenstein“ ist in Deutschland nicht mehr indiziert: Mit einer Entscheidung vom 24. Februar hat die Bundeszentrale für Kinder- und Jugendmedienschutz (BzKJ) den 2001 erschienenen Ego-Shooter vom Index gestrichen. Darüber berichtete zuerst Schnittberichte.com. Die Listenstreichung von „Return to Castle Wolfenstein“ lässt sich in einer Mitteilung des Bundesanzeigers (pdf) nachvollziehen. Demnach wurden neben der PC-Fassung auch die erweiterten Konsolenversionen „Tides of War“ und „Operation Resurrection“ vom Index gestrichen. Laut Mitteilung des Bundesanzeigers wurden sowohl die geschnittene deutsche Fassung als auch die internationale Version vom Index genommen. Die Listenstreichung ist bemerkenswert, weil Inhalte üblicherweise ohnehin nach 25 Jahren vom Index gestrichen werden, solange keine Folgeindizierung stattfindet. „Return to Castle Wolfenstein“ wurde 2002 indiziert, wäre 2027 also voraussichtlich von der Liste entfernt worden und hätte dann in Deutschland grundsätzlich wieder vertrieben und beworben werden können. Unklar ist, ob Bethesda selbst eine Neuprüfung beantragt hat. Eine Nachfrage von heise online hat Bethesda nicht unmittelbar beantwortet.

SÄCHSISCHE SEPARATISTEN – AfD-Angeklagter erklärt Terrorvorwürfe zum Missverständnis – #terror

Im Terrorprozess gegen die „Sächsischen Separatisten“ hat der nächste Angeklagte seine Unschuld beteuert: Hans-Georg P., AfD-Mitglied mit Vergangenheit in der Neonazi-Szene, will sich bei seiner Teilnahme an paramilitärischen Trainings nichts Böses gedacht haben. Er habe sich nicht auf einen Umsturz vorbereiten wollen, sondern auf eine Ausbildung als Securitymann. Doch je mehr Fragen dem 26-Jährigen gestellt werden, desto mehr gerät er ins Schlingern. Der Mann, der einst einen Neonazi-Schläger zu seinem „Vorbild“ erklärte, der wohlwollend über SS-Führer Heinrich Himmler chattete und rechtsterroristische Manifeste auf seinem Computer gespeichert hatte, er sagt: Es ist alles nur ein Missverständnis. Als einer von acht jungen Männern, die sich als „Sächsische Separatisten“ auf einen neonazistischen Umsturz in Deutschland vorbereitet haben sollen, steht Hans-Georg P. seit Januar vor dem Staatsschutzsenat des Dresdner Oberlandesgerichts.  Es geht um Terrorismus und Hochverrat. Die Bundesanwaltschaft wirft dem 26-Jährigen und seinen mutmaßlichen Mitstreitern vor, von der Errichtung eines NS-Staats in möglichst großen Teilen Ostdeutschlands geträumt und mit paramilitärischen Wehrsportübungen und dem Besuch von Schießständen dafür trainiert zu haben. (…) „Terrorismus schadet der politischen Rechten, weil diese dann kriminalisiert wird“, erklärt Hans-Georg P. Separatismus halte er „nicht für zielführend“, von einer Gruppe namens „Sächsische Separatisten“ habe er nie etwas gehört, geschweige denn ihr angehört. An den „Outdoor-Veranstaltungen“ – so nennt der Dresdner, was die Bundesanwaltschaft als Wehrsport einstuft – will er mal nur aus Langeweile, mal zur Vorbereitung auf eine angestrebte Ausbildung im Sicherheitsgewerbe teilgenommen haben. Es sei allerdings eher enttäuschend gewesen. Doch je mehr ihn Gericht und Bundesanwaltschaft befragen, desto mehr gerät er ins Schlingern. Muss zugeben, dass er die Totenkopfsturmmaske, wie sie Anhänger*innen der rechtsterroristischen „Atomwaffendivision“ zu tragen pflegen, doch nicht bloß für „lustige Fotos vorm Spiegel“ benutzte. Sondern auch beim Häuserkampftraining mit Airsoftwaffen auf einem ehemaligen Militärflugplatz.  “Endlösung der Judenfrage” ein “anregender Gedanke” Er windet sich, um zu erklären, warum er in Heinrich Himmlers berüchtigter Posener Rede über die „Endlösung der Judenfrage“ vom Oktober 1943 anregende Gedanken gefunden habe. Behauptet, das Manifest des rechtsterroristischen Massenmörders Anders Breivik nur aus „morbidem Interesse“ besessen zu haben. Und räumt ein, dass er Leon R., den unterdessen rechtskräftig verurteilten Anführer der neonazistischen Schlägertruppe „Knockout 51“, als „maskulines Rollenvorbild“ gesehen habe. Verteidigt wird Hans-Georg P. von den Leipziger Szene-Anwälten Arndt Hohnstädter (ex-Legida) und Brian Engelmann, der wegen des Neonazi-Angriffs in Leipzig-Connewitz 2016 verurteilt wurde. Er ist der dritte Angeklagte, der sich im Dresdner Prozess zu den Vorwürfen einlässt. Gleich zu Beginn hatte Jörg S. seine Unschuld beteuert, der mutmaßliche Rädelsführer der „Sächsischen Separatisten“.

Teenager Arrested in Italy for Planning A School Massacre Inspired by Columbine – #terror

Operation Hate: Italy’s Carabinieri Arrest 17-Year-Old Who Was Planning a Neo-Nazi School Attack Italian military police arrested a 17-year-old on Monday morning on terrorism charges after investigations revealed he had been planning a school massacre modelled on the 1999 Columbine High School shooting. The operation, codenamed “Hate,” was conducted by the ROS, the Special Operations Group of the Carabinieri, and involved simultaneous searches across four Italian regions. The teenager, originally from Pescara but resident in a town in the Alto Tevere area of Umbria, faces charges including possession of material with terrorist purposes, as well as incitement to commit crimes on grounds of racial, ethnic and religious discrimination. Investigators found he had been working on the fabrication of weapons and chemical devices, and had been seeking manuals and technical information on the manufacture of explosive devices and firearms. Among the seized material were documents containing technical instructions on dangerous chemical and bacteriological substances, as well as guides to sabotaging essential public services. (…) Investigators established contacts between the teenager and the leadership of a Telegram group called “Werwolf Division,” a virtual environment of neo-Nazi and white supremacist content, where mass killers such as Brenton Tarrant, the perpetrator of the Christchurch mosque attacks in New Zealand in 2019, and Anders Behring Breivik, responsible for the Oslo and Utøya attacks in Norway in 2011, were described as “saints” to be emulated. The teenager had planned the school attack on the Columbine model, to be followed by his own suicide.  Investigators described the broader digital ecosystem as transnational, connecting neo-Nazi, accelerationist and white supremacist groups and channels across multiple countries.

An analysis by The Intercept reveals that the “peace” president has embroiled the U.S. in more than 20 military interventions, armed conflicts, and wars. PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP talks endlessly of “peace.” He ran for office promising to keep the United States out of conflicts, claims to be a “peacemaker,” has campaigned for a Nobel Peace Prize, and founded a so-called Board of Peace. “Under Trump we will have no more wars,” he said on the campaign trail in 2024. Yet Trump has immersed the U.S. in constant conflict, outpacing even other presidential warmongers like Richard Nixon, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama. The White House and Pentagon won’t tell the American people where the U.S. is at war, and Trump has never gone to Congress for war authorization. But an analysis by The Intercept reveals that Trump has embroiled the U.S. in more than 20 military interventions, armed conflicts, and wars during his five-plus years in the White House. Due to a lack of government transparency, obscure security cooperation, and carveouts baked into the U.S. Code — like the 127e authority enacted in the wake of the September 11 attacks, and the covert action statute that enables the CIA to conduct secret wars — the actual number could be markedly higher. During his two terms in office, Trump has overseen armed interventions and military operations — including drone strikes, ground raids, proxy wars, 127e programs, and full-scale conflicts — in Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Ecuador, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Kenya, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, the Philippines, Somalia, Syria, Tunisia, Venezuela, Yemen, and an unspecified country in the Indo-Pacific region, as well as attacks on civilians in boats in the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean. More than 6,500 U.S. Special Operations forces’ “operators and enablers” are currently deployed in more than 80 countries around the world. And during its second term, the Trump administration has also bullied Panama and threatened Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Greenland (perhaps also Iceland), and Mexico.

Der Antrag der CDU die Kostenübernahme zu beenden, wurde mit Stimmen der AfD knapp beschlossen. SPD, Grüne, FDP, Frei Wähler und fraktionslose Mitglieder hatten den Antrag abgelehnt. 150 Menschen nutzen Angebot allein im Kreis Segeberg Die Entscheidung des Kreises Segeberg, die Kostenübernahme für Verhütungsmittel abzuschaffen sei ein Rückschritt für Gleichberechtigung und reproduktive Selbstbestimmung, sagt Lina Jenner, Fachreferentin von pro familia Schleswig-Holstein.

The Sordid History of State Collusion With the Far Right

During the conflict in the North of Ireland, British security forces colluded with loyalist paramilitaries responsible for hundreds of sectarian murders. The record of collusion should be a cautionary tale for the contemporary US as the far right grows. The protest taunt “Cops and Klan, hand in hand” emerged from an observable phenomenon: far-right vigilantes have long been either disproportionately represented in law enforcement agencies or allied with them. During the 1960s, Southern sheriffs fought civil rights advocates by day while Klansmen took over at night — and they were often the same people. While the Klan may have seen themselves as opponents of the state, they frequently served the same ends. The far right has always played this role, drawing sections of the working class into reactionary movements that claim to be rebellious while ultimately defending the status quo by acting as an effective foil to the political left. This dynamic has played out in other countries, especially in areas like the North of Ireland where minority rights are at the heart of conflict. When a civil rights movement emerged demanding equal rights for the nationalist minority in the late 1960s, unionists responded with violence, dismissing it as a plot by the Irish Republican Army (IRA). Loyalism was a militant working-class unionist movement based around paramilitary groups such as the Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) and the Ulster Defence Association (UDA), ostensibly to defend against IRA violence but primarily geared toward repressing Catholics in general. There was a thirty-year guerrilla war involving the IRA, the British state, and loyalist paramilitaries. Although loyalists occasionally clashed with British soldiers, their violence overwhelmingly targeted Catholic civilians. From beginning to end, the state security forces treated Irish republicans and loyalists in radically different ways. Collaboration rarely appears as formal policy but instead operates through informal relationships, ideological alignment, and the quiet avoidance of accountability.

Thirteen arrested in Tbilisi neo-Nazi crackdown, seven of them minors – #terror

“Officers of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) have detained 13 individuals affiliated with various neo-Nazi groupings and adherents of fascist ideology, following a large-scale coordinated police operation in the capital,” announced the Head of the Tbilisi Police Department, Vazha Siradze, at a briefing. According to Siradze, those detained had subjected victims of various ages to physical and psychological violence of exceptional brutality. Seven of those arrested are minors. “In addition, within the framework of the ongoing criminal investigation into the same case, four further individuals already serving sentences in penitentiary institutions for analogous offences are to face additional charges, for organising and participating in group violence, based on evidence gathered. As a result of investigative activities conducted over several months, law enforcement established that members of these violent groupings identified themselves as neo-Nazis and were guided by fascist ideology. In pursuit of notoriety, the promotion of fascist ideology, and the expansion of influence within neo-Nazi networks, they displayed extreme radicalism towards their victims and subjected targets to violence of exceptional cruelty, using various blunt and sharp instruments, including batons and knuckledusters. They were particularly brutal towards those who did not share their fascist ideology. Furthermore, during attacks on victims, members of the radical groupings robbed them and extorted sums of money. Members of the groupings filmed the violence, torture, degrading treatment, and physical and psychological abuse inflicted upon their victims using mobile phones and deliberately published the material across various online platforms. It is noteworthy that, based on conflicts of interest and internal disputes, members of different neo-Nazi groupings also turned on one another with equal savagery, as confirmed by evidence gathered in the course of the ongoing investigation. As a result of these violent acts, nearly ten individuals have been recognised as victims, including two minors. During searches of the accused’s personal belongings and residential premises, the following were seized: firearms, sound-signal weapons and bladed weapons belonging to them, items bearing Nazi symbols, mobile phones, masks, and various electronic equipment.
