Wie Direktor Kash Patel am Mittwoch bei X sagte, werde das FBI nicht länger »mit politischen Frontorganisationen zusammenarbeiten, die sich als Wachhunde ausgeben.« Die Anti-Defamation-League ist eine bekannte jüdische Organisation zur Verfolgung von Antisemitismus. Zuvor hatten Republikaner die Organisation dafür kritisiert, dass sie die Organisation des ermordeten Aktivisten Charlie Kirk in ein Glossar zum Thema Extremismus aufgenommen habe. Kirk wurde im September auf einem Universitätscampus in Utah ermordet. Die Anti-Defamation-League entfernte in Reaktion auf die Kritik das gesamte Glossar von ihrer Internetseite.
