‘I had my Tesla way before things heated up in the States’. It seemed like a typical morning for Petar Ostojic, as he started his day by dropping off his son Ben at Chippewa Secondary School. But this Friday, it was a little bit different. While waiting at the lights at O’Brien and High Street, his son noticed a car was following close behind them. “As soon as I got through the lights, this guy started honking at me,” said Ostojic. He started to worry that maybe something was wrong with his vehicle. “I was going to pull over but then I saw he stuck his finger out and he gave me the finger, and honking for like 30 seconds. So I just kept driving, and then I pulled it over and my son went to school. He passed me at the next street and I followed him. Then he pulled over and I asked him, ‘How can I help you? Like, what’s wrong?’ He said, ‘You’re driving a Nazi car.’ And he gave me a finger again.” Ostojic was shocked to realize that the driver’s anger stemmed solely from him driving a Tesla
