Wie die “New York Post” berichtet, steht der 20-jährige Kalifornier Alexander Paffendorf unter Verdacht, eine weitere Attacke mit der 15-jährigen Nathalie Rupnow geplant zu haben. Sie hatte am Montag an der Abundant Life Christian School das Feuer eröffnet, eine Mitschülerin, eine Lehrerin und dann sich selbst getötet. Laut Behördeninformationen, die dem US-Sender “CBS 8” vorliegen, soll Paffendorf Nachrichten an die Teenagerin verschickt haben, in denen es um einen geplanten Anschlag ging. “Während einer FBI-Befragung gab Paffendorf gegenüber den Beamten zu, er habe Rupnow erzählt, sich mit Sprengstoff und einer Waffe ausrüsten und ein Regierungsgebäude angreifen zu wollen”, heißt es in dem Papier des Carlsbad Police Department.
