A 28-YEAR-OLD woman linked to neo-Nazi ideology has been arrested in Catalunya after allegedly covering a children’s playground with anti-Muslim graffiti and xenophobic stickers. The suspect is accused of covering play areas used by children with xenophobic messages aimed mainly at the Muslim community, angering residents in the town of Roquetes, in the Terres de l’Ebre region. Police said the offensive graffiti and stickers appeared in several parts of the town during April, but most were found at playgrounds. The woman was arrested by the Mossos d’Esquadra on May 8 following an investigation into hate crime and discrimination and a crime of damage.
