A Russian neo-Nazi paramilitary group fighting alongside the Russian Armed Forces has publicly announced a contest encouraging the killing of Ukrainian prisoners of war. According to multiple open-source intelligence reports and media coverage, members of the Rusich Sabotage and Assault Reconnaissance Group (DShRG Rusich) have invited others to submit photographic evidence of executed Ukrainian POWs, offering cryptocurrency rewards in exchange. The announcement was made via Rusich’s social media channel on November 16, 2025. In the post, the group wrote: “The first three people to send photos in front of clearly eliminated POWs will receive a monetary reward in cryptocurrency from DShRG Rusich.” The post included an image showing what appeared to be a Rusich fighter standing in front of dead individuals, described in the caption as Ukrainian prisoners. The image’s authenticity has not been independently verified. Participants were asked to submit photographs anonymously and were promised publication of their images on Rusich’s channels. The group added: “This is how the army of victors poses, not losers.” DShRG Rusich is a Russian paramilitary group composed of neo-Nazi extremists with a documented history of participating in wars in Ukraine and Syria. The group has been linked to systemic violations of international humanitarian law. As noted by the OSINT group Molfar, Rusich has operated at least two combat units and previously maintained a training facility near Saint Petersburg as of late 2022.
