Doch in rechtsextremen Kreisen hat sich eine Gegenbewegung etabliert – mit ernsthaften Folgen. “Stolzmonat 2025 – Auftakt: Party am Schloss Stolzenfels” – Diesen Aufruf zu einer Veranstaltung am 31. Mai am Schloss Stolzenfels in Koblenz postete der AfD-Landtagsabgeordnete Joachim Paul in den sozialen Netzwerken. Dazu schreibt er: “Ich werde dabei sein – kommt mit und lasst uns gemeinsam in den Stolzmonat starten!” In einem Ankündigungsvideo für die Veranstaltung ist eine Frau zu sehen, die am Ende demonstrativ einen bunten Aufkleber mit den Worten “Rassismus ist keine Alternative” mutmaßlich von einem Straßenschild entfernt.Den “Stolzmonat” gibt es seit dem Jahr 2023. Dabei handelt es sich laut des Bundesamts für Verfassungsschutz um eine “durch verschiedene Akteure aufgegriffene und sich verselbstständigende ‘patriotische’ Gegenbewegung zum Pride Month”. Und weiter: “Unter dem Deckmantel des ‘Stolzmonats’ wurde in der Folge von der rechtsextremistischen Szene mit Aktionen sowohl im digitalen als auch realweltlichen Raum gegen die LGBTQ+- Community gehetzt. Der ‘Stolzmonat’ fungierte darüber hinaus als themenbezogen verbindendes Element der rechtsextremistischen Szene.”Anders als im Netz propagiert, handelt es sich beim “Stolzmonat” nicht bloß um eine patriotische Aktion. Der Name sei eine direkte Anlehnung an den Pride Month, sagt Joe Düker, Junior Researcher beim Center für Monitoring, Analyse und Strategie (CeMAS). “Da derselbe Monat gewählt wurde und stolz eine direkte Übersetzung von Pride ist, kann man sehr eindeutig eine unmittelbare Verbindung herstellen.” Auch das Symbol des “Stolzmonats” sei an die Regenbogenflagge der queeren Community angelehnt.”Wesentlicher Bestandteil des Rechtsextremismus”An dem “Stolzmonat” beteiligen sich vor allem Akteure der sogenannten Neuen Rechten, aber auch aus dem rechtslibertären und rechtskonservativen Spektrum, so Düker. “Sie wollen zum einen ihre Queerfeindlichkeit zum Ausdruck bringen und zum anderen das rechtsextreme Verständnis gegenüber der LGBTQIA+-Community in die Gesellschaft tragen, um es zu normalisieren.” Einer Analyse des CeMAS zufolge spielte die inzwischen aufgelöste Junge Alternative, die Jugendorganisation der AfD, zusammen mit einigen AfD-Politiker eine führende Rolle bei der Verbreitung der “Stolzmonat”-Kampagne in den sozialen Netzwerken.Queerfeindlichkeit sei ein wesentlicher Bestandteil des Rechtextremismus. Die wachsende Popularität rechtsextremer Organisationen ermögliche die Verbreitung ihrer Ideologie, einschließlich der Feindseligkeit gegenüber der LGBTQI+-Gemeinschaft, heißt es in der CeMAS-Analyse. In den sozialen Netzwerken kommt es regelmäßig zu bewusst verbreiteten Falschbehauptungen über queere Menschen.

But the newspaper’s reporting notes his “erratic behavior” in the days leading up to and after Trump entered office, including gestures on inauguration day that mirrored Nazi salutes, his repeated clashes with top administration officials and cabinet members, and his “increasingly tumultuous” family life, including custody battles and the revelation of his 14th child. The billionaire experienced frequent “mood swings” and a “fixation on having more children, according to The New York Times, citing interviews, private messages obtained by the newspaper, and photographs allegedly showing Musk’s drug stash. Around the same time he publicly endorsed Trump last July, Musk was using ketamine to the point where it was causing bladder issues, according to the newspaper. Weeks after Trump’s inauguration, Musk was on stage at February’s Conservative Political Action Conference wearing sunglasses and a black “Make America Great Again” hat while wielding a chainsaw. “This is the chainsaw for bureaucracy,” he said. As a queer historian and author, he’s used to talking about the state of queer affairs, past and present, especially with actress, activist, and season 9 Ru Paul’s Drag Race contestant Miss Peppermint. Together, the two are currently running Queer History 101, a monthly book club that’s taking a more expansive approach to history than simply reciting dates or names, at a time when their mission couldn’t be more important. The queer community, especially transgender Americans, are under attack. The current administration is systematically wiping away trans people’s health information, gender autonomy, history, and employment opportunities, even in the case of national monuments like Stonewall, which is considered the birthplace of the modern movement for LGBT rights. “It’s shameful because we’re seeing the cover-up in front of our eyes,” Peppermint says. Many companies are also backing off their initiatives that once celebrated queer pride as part of a greater crackdown on DEI.

Surprise! New “MAHA” Report Is Full of Junk Science and Fake Studies

The latest Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s “Make America Healthy Again”. Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s “Make America Healthy Again” report cites fabricated studies and draws the wrong conclusions. The secretary of health and human services brags that the report, released last week, is based on “gold-standard” science drawn from over 500 studies and other sources. But in reality, NOTUS found, its citations are error-ridden, with missing links, incorrect conclusions, and sometimes even made-up studies. In one case, the supposed author of a study on anxiety in adolescents, epidemiologist Katherine Keyes, was surprised to find she was cited in the report for a paper she didn’t even write. “The paper cited is not a real paper that I or my colleagues were involved with,” Keyes told the publication in an email. “We’ve certainly done research on this topic, but did not publish a paper in JAMA Pediatrics on this topic with that co-author group, or with that title.” In fact, the study in question—“Changes in mental health and substance abuse among US adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic”—may not have been written by anyone. The link to it in the report doesn’t work, and the citation claims that it appeared in the twelfth issue of the 176th edition of the journal JAMA Pediatrics, which doesn’t contain a study with that title. That isn’t the only study cited by the MAHA report that doesn’t seem to exist (…) In other parts of the MAHA report, conclusions are drawn from papers that don’t even touch on the topics or methods Kennedy’s report cites, and other researchers cited in the report claim their studies were mischaracterized. Kennedy doesn’t seem to be aware of the issues in the report, extolling how great it is on social media. “Never in American history has the federal government taken a position on public health like this,” Kennedy said, according to a White House post on X. Kennedy has a long history of pushing medical misinformation. A well-known anti-vaccine activist, his tenure as HHS secretary has been marked by questionable decisions and statements. Kennedy has stopped the department from recommending Covid vaccines for children and pregnant women, claimed that the measles vaccine contains aborted fetuses, and pushed for fluoride to be removed from state water supplies, among many other misguided decisions.

I can’t believe that Elon Musk is leaving Doge, the government department he named after a tired and basic meme that most of the internet had moved on from around a decade ago. “As my scheduled time as a Special Government Employee comes to an end,” Musk wrote this week (capital letters: model’s own), “I would like to thank President @realDonaldTrump for the opportunity to reduce wasteful government spending.” Oh man. “Thank you for the opportunity”?! At some level you have to salute Donald Trump’s ability to turn even the world’s richest man into an Apprentice candidate who leaves in week four after completely wiping out in the hotdog stand task. Musk arrived in government promising to slash spending by $2tn. He leaves it a mere $1.86tn short of that target, even by his own estimations. Meanwhile, the president’s new tax bill is set to add $2.3tn to the deficit. I imagine Musk thought his government finale would be a spectacular extravaganza – “you’re welcome, Washington!” – involving 2,000 chainsaw-wielding chorus girls. Instead, it’s a tweet. And yes – we DO all still call them tweets. Ironically, the thing that Musk has been most stunningly effective at slashing is his own reputation. Think about it. He arrived in Trump’s orbit as a somewhat mysterious man, widely regarded as a tech genius, and a titan of the age. He leaves it with vast numbers of people woken up to the fact he’s a weird and creepy breeding fetishist, who desperately pretends to be good at video games, and wasn’t remotely as key to SpaceX or Tesla’s engineering prowess as they’d vaguely thought. Also, with a number of them apparently convinced he had a botched penile implant. Rightly or wrongly convinced – sure. I’m just asking questions.

Blumenkränze in NS-Gedenkstätte zerstört – Verdächtiger war AfD-Mitglied

Ein Mann zerstört Kränze in einer Gedenkstätte für Opfer des Nationalsozialismus. Nach einer Durchsuchung der Polizei steht fest: Der Verdächtige ist zum Tatzeitpunkt AfD-Mitglied. Die Partei spricht von „Aufnahmebetrug“. Der Rechtsextremist, der in der NS-Gedenkstätte Ahlem in Hannover Blumenkränze zerstört haben soll, war zum Zeitpunkt der Tat AfD-Mitglied. Dies teilte ein Sprecher der Polizei auf Nachfrage mit. Demnach fanden Einsatzkräfte Ende Januar bei Durchsuchungen in Räumlichkeiten des 25-Jährigen ein an den Mann adressiertes Schreiben des AfD-Landesverbandes Niedersachsen. „Dieses Schreiben ist datiert auf den 20.01.2025 und bestätigt eine zu dem Zeitpunkt seit einigen Wochen bestehende Vollmitgliedschaft des Beschuldigten in der Partei Alternative für Deutschland in Niedersachsen“, so der Polizeisprecher. Über die Mitgliedschaft hatte zunächst die „Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung“ berichtet. Die AfD teilte auf dpa-Nachfrage mit, dass die Mitgliedschaft des Tatverdächtigen von vornherein ungültig war. Es handele sich um Aufnahmebetrug, schrieb ein Sprecher der Partei. Denn der Mann habe seine Mitgliedschaften bei der rechtsextremen Partei Die Heimat (früher NPD) und deren Jugendorganisation Junge Nationalisten verschwiegen (…) Die Ermittler werfen dem 25-Jährigen vor, Ende Januar in der Gedenkstätte Blumenkränze zerstört und gestohlen zu haben, die während einer Gedenkstunde für die Opfer des Holocaust dort niedergelegt worden waren. Sie gehen von einer politisch motivierten Tat aus. Der mutmaßliche Täter ist auf Bildern der Kameraüberwachung zu sehen. Bei einer Durchsuchung seiner Wohnung fanden Einsatzkräfte eine Maschinenpistole und Munition. Im Mai wurde der 25-Jährige in Ungarn festgenommen und nach Deutschland überstellt. Er sitzt weiter in Untersuchungshaft, wie eine Sprecherin der Staatsanwaltschaft mitteilte. Der Tatverdächtige soll schon in der Vergangenheit mit politisch motivierten Straftaten aufgefallen und sich in Kreisen rechtsextremer Organisationen engagiert haben

Tausende haben am Donnerstag in der Dresdner Region Christi Himmelfahrt gefeiert – ob mit Bollerwagen oder zu Fuß. Die ausgelassene Stimmung wurde jedoch auch durch rassistische Parolen getrübt. Videoaufnahmen in sozialen Netzwerken zeigen, wie eine große Männergruppe lautstark am Japanischen Palais auf Neustädter Seite „Ausländer raus“-Parolen brüllte, auch der Hitlergruß wurde gezeigt. Wie uns die Polizei auf Nachfrage bestätigte, sei der Sachverhalt bekannt. Die Ermittlungen wurden aufgenommen. Eine Bilanz zum Polizeieinsatz rund um den Männertag wird am Freitagvormittag erwartet. Wehrmacht-Fans fahren durch Sächsische Schweiz Wie unser Reporter berichtet, waren auch Anhänger der Wehrmacht mit einem Kübelwagen und einer Reichsflagge unterwegs. Sie fuhren von Glashütte Richtung Sächsische Schweiz. Neben dem offiziellen Kennzeichen mit der Ortskennung von Dippoldiswalde war an dem Kübelwagen ein nachgeahmtes Kennzeichen der Wehrmacht mit den Initialen „WH 140687“ angebracht. WH bezeichnete im Dritten Reich die Fahrzeuge des Heers der Wehrmacht. Am Männertag vergangenen Jahres hatte die Polizei das Fahrzeug nach rassistischen Rufen der Insassen gestoppt.
