AfD-Computerspiel »Deutschlandretter24« soll auf den Index

Landeskriminalamt meldet 30 Tonträger, ein Spiel und ein Buch bei der Bundesprüfstelle für jugendgefährdende Medien. »2024 – die Bundesrepublik versinkt im Chaos, Masseneinwanderung, Messermänner, Gender-Gaga« und überall Lastenfahrräder. »Können wir Deutschland noch retten? Ja!« So beginnt das Computerspiel. Aufgabe ist es, verschiedene Symbole passend zu sortieren. Gelingt dies, blitzen auch mal Flugzeuge auf und ein Männerchor grölt begeistert: »Abschieben.« Der Spieler erhält drei Punkte. Mit seiner Grafik und seiner Dudel-Pieps-Musik erinnert »Deutschlandretter 24« an die Spiele für den von 1982 bis 1994 produzierten C64-Heimcomputer von Commodore. Mehr war bei dessen begrenzter Rechenleistung kaum möglich. So viel Text aufsagen konnte der allerdings nicht. Damals war ein einzelnes Wort schon eine Sensation. Das neue Spiel wirkt technisch primitiv. Doch das dürfte dem brandenburgischen Landeskriminalamt (LKA) egal gewesen sein. Es störte sich aber daran, dass Kindern und Jugendlichen suggeriert werde, alle Personen dunkler Hautfarbe müssten ohne Einzelfallprüfung abgeschoben werden. Das LKA beantragte bei der Bundesprüfstelle für jugendgefährdende Medien, das Spiel auf den Index zu setzen. Das geht aus einer kürzlich vom Potsdamer Innenministerium vorgelegten Bilanz hervor. Demnach meldete das LKA im Jahr 2024 bei der Bundesprüfstelle das Spiel sowie 30 Tonträger und außerdem noch ein Buch der Neonazi-Partei »Der III. Weg«. Zwischendurch war das Spiel »Deutschlandretter 24« schon mal offline, also nicht verfügbar. Journalisten hätten so lange gedrängt, bis die Internetadresse gesperrt wurde, beschwerte sich die Brandenburger AfD-Jugend. »Ungeheuerlich, aber egal. Wir sind wieder online«, frohlockte sie dann jedoch am 29. September. Die Junge Alternative zeichnet laut Impressum verantwortlich dafür.

Konkret könnte es sich um einen Live X-Space mit Musk und Weidel handeln, also ein Live-Audio-Gespräch auf Musks Plattform X. How Violent Neo-Nazis Resurfaced in Wartime Russia – #terror

The war in Ukraine has given new prominence to Russia’s neo-Nazis, as official media echo their xenophobic claims. No longer afraid of repression, such groups circulate videos of spectacular street violence among hundreds of thousands of followers. The neo-Nazi subculture first emerged in Russia in the mid-1990s but remained marginal until the early 2000s. At the time, more traditional forms of neo-Nazi organization had gained greater popularity, mimicking the structures of fascist movements from the first half of the twentieth century: political parties with hierarchical structures and paramilitary units. The most successful among them was Russian National Unity (RNU). At its peak in the mid-1990s, the organization had up to 15,000 active members, with chapters operating in major cities. In some areas, fascists managed to establish connections with local authorities. However, due to internal splits, conflicts with official structures, and changes in Russia’s political system, the organization disintegrated by the early 2000s. The decline of organized fascist movements coincided with the rise of the neo-Nazi skinhead subculture. Like most youth subcultures in the post-Soviet space, Russian neo-Nazi skinheads imitated the style and ideology of Western neo-Nazi skins, obtaining information about them from foreign media. The use of Nazi symbols and terminology from German Nazism provoked outrage among ordinary Russians, as almost every family had lost relatives during the Great Patriotic War, as World War II is known in Russia. (…) Currently, the number of attacks has stabilized at around seventy to eighty per month. Despite the alarming increase in the frequency and brutality of videos in the spring of 2024, an unexpected decline occurred over the summer. Unfortunately, it’s unclear whether this was due to police efforts, as several prolific contributors were apprehended, or if neo-Nazis became more cautious and stopped posting every video online. Shortly before this publication, in late October 2024, the administrator of Project Mayhem, the second-largest Telegram channel regularly sharing attack videos, was arrested (the administrator of third-largest “Archive of good deeds” was arrested in summer). During its operation, the channel posted 157 videos documenting 241 attacks, and its audience had grown to nearly 20,000 followers.

The world’s richest man changed his name on X to Kekius Maximus, and his profile picture to Pepe the Frog in a gladiator costume. The days between Christmas and New Year’s Eve can be a disorienting time for many. Including, apparently, the world’s richest man. In between sharing photos of furry animals, bragging about the size of his rocket and dunking on the very concept of taxation, Elon Musk took a moment to change his username and profile picture on the social media platform X to an alt-right meme beloved by white-supremacist trolls. Musk’s new moniker, Kekius Maximus, is a meme that combines Pepe the Frog with the Maximus character from the movie Gladiator. The alt-right has embraced Pepe as the “protector god” of a satirical religion dedicated to chaos and anti-political correctness, according to research by the Southern Poverty Law Center (a group despised by Musk and others.) By using something as farcical as a frog deity meme, right-wing trolls can spread their ideas without having to address the “vicious core of white male nationalism they embrace,” according to the SPLC. As with all things Musk, it’s not clear whether his new alter ego is just a way to troll anyone who disagrees with him or whether there’s the potential for self-enrichment. On Monday, MAGA’s civil war over H-1B visas reignited a debate about whether Musk has a burner account on X that he uses to post fawning interactions with his official account—a practice known as “sock-puppeting.” For the past year, the Adrian Dittmann account has offered such a passionate defense of Musk—and used such a similar rhetorical style—that users have wondered if they are one and the same. That speculation came to a head during the H-1B visa debate, as internet sleuths dug back into Dittmann’s old posts for clues. Musk’s new Kekius Maximus identity could just be a way to troll users who are convinced Musk has a burner account, with the added benefit of offending anyone who knows that Pepe is associated with SPLC-designated hate groups.

The Most Powerful Man in America is a Nazi Sympathizer

Elon Musk is just the latest billionaire to exert tremendous influence over U.S. politics. When he says he supports Neo-Nazis, take him at his word. If there was any doubt about the power and influence of Elon Musk as we head into Trump’s second term, it was decisively erased this past week. The world’s richest man singlehandedly hijacked the negotiations for the spending bill that Congress passed last week in order to narrowly avoid a government shutdown. He used his wealth and his vast digital influence as a bludgeon against an entire political party and did so successfully. He threatened to use his immense wealth to fund primary challengers against anyone who voted to pass a bipartisan funding bill that wasn’t to his liking. In doing so, Musk successfully coerced them into removing a heap of important medical-related funding and other provisions.  The version of the bill endorsed by Musk excised more than $190 million worth of funding for childhood cancer research, as well funding for research into premature labor, treatments for sickle cell anemia, and early detection of breast and cervical cancers. It also eliminated provisions allowing for low-income kids who receive funds through the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) to access complex care across state lines. Beyond that, Sam Stein of the Bulwark reports: “The initial compromise bill included language to ensure that providers of internet service to rural areas weren’t ripping off customers, to protect consumers from hidden hotel fees, to secure semiconductor supply chains, to restrict U.S. outbound investment in China, even to prohibit deepfake pornography. All those were all gone in the successor bill.” With a few tweets, many of which contained outright false information about what was in the bipartisan bill, Musk was able to bend America’s lawmakers to his will. By spending more than $250 million to help Donald Trump win the 2024 election, he had already managed to purchase for himself an advisory role in the incoming administration as a leader of the newly christened “Department of Government Efficiency” (aka DOGE). By virtue of Musk’s unprecedented ability and willingness to spend money to influence the political landscape, he is now arguably more powerful than any single person in government, potentially including the incoming president himself.  With this in mind, we should probably talk about the fact that the most powerful man in the world is also an overt Nazi sympathizer. On Dec. 20, Musk posted that “Only the AfD can save Germany,” referencing the neo-Nazi Alternative for Germany party that has been inching upwards in the polls in recent months.

#Telegram blocks #Russian state-owned media channels in several EU countries

A number of major Russian news outlets had their Telegram channels blocked across several European Union countries on Dec. 28. Users attempting to access these channels now see a notice saying that the content has been restricted and is no longer available. Restrictions apply to several Russian state-run or controlled media outlets, including RIA Novosti, Izvestia, Rossiya 1, Channel One, NTV, and Rossiyskaya Gazeta. Russia has waged a systematic international campaign of media manipulation and disinformation to justify its aggression against Ukraine and destabilize neighboring countries and the EU. These efforts target Ukraine and its citizens, as well as European political parties, civil society, and democratic institutions, with a focus on election interference and vulnerable groups. While it is not yet confirmed if the measures are enforced across the entire EU, the channels have reportedly been blocked in Poland, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Greece, Italy, and  Czechia. The European Union has previously imposed measures targeting Russian media amid the ongoing war in Ukraine. In May, outlets like Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Izvestia, and RIA Novosti were banned from broadcasting within the bloc. At the time, the EU Council said that these outlets played a crucial role in the war.

We have some great news about Alternative for Germany (AfD), the far-right nativist political party recently hailed by Elon Musk as the only hope to “save” Germany. (Wow, what a new and unprecedented dynamic in Germany’s political system, surely there is no way this will go badly.) Tshe great news is that Musk has expanded on his endorsement with an editorial in a German newspaper explaining that everyone’s got AfD all wrong, how can it be bigoted when the party’s leader is a lesbian doing hot lesbian sex stuff with another lesbian who isn’t even white??? Riddle us that one, Batmanschplatzenobergruper! We bet you did Nazi this coming, so we are Goering to tell you about it! The editorial appeared over the weekend in the German paper Die Welt. Since it is paywalled and we are not planning on giving those pretzel-scarfing anger dildos any deutsche marks or Euros or whatever commie currency the Jerries use, we’ll let The Guardian tell us about it: Musk uses populist and personal language to try to deny AfD’s extremist bent, and the essay expands on his post on his social media platform, X, on which he last week claimed that “only the AfD can save Germany”. Translated, Musk’s piece said: “The portrayal of the AfD as rightwing extremist is clearly false, considering that Alice Weidel, the party’s leader, has a same-sex partner from Sri Lanka! Does that sound like Hitler to you? Please!” Adolf Hitler was a vegetarian who loved animals, children, and painting landscapes. He was known to be very kind to the offspring of his closest Nazi associates, some of whom supposedly called him “Uncle Hitler.” Does that sound like Hitler to you? Please! We’re surprised Musk didn’t add that Donald Trump’s first ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell, was gay as the day is long and still spent his ambassadorship cozying up to the AfD, which did not make him wear a pink triangle and banish him to a concentration camp, so checkmate, libtards. Politico had a little more about the dust-up over the piece. Apparently, Musk called the AfD the “last spark of hope” for Germany, presumably before it is overrun and its culture extinguished by wokism or immigrants or whatever other horrors cause the world’s wealthiest man to keep filling up his own diaper: Saying Germany is on “the brink of economic and cultural collapse,” the owner of automaker Tesla and social media platform X wrote that the “AfD can save Germany from becoming a shadow of its former self.” Good Lord. Just sub in “National Socialist German Workers’ Party” for “AfD” and yell about the Jews and the Treaty of Versailles a bit, and this garbage wouldn’t have been out of place in Der Sturmer in the mid-1920s. The publication of Musk’s editorial caused the editor of Die Welt’s opinion section to resign in protest. The paper also published an opinion piece alongside Musk’s in which the paper’s incoming editor-in-chief, Jan Philipp Burgard, rebutted his statements. The paper might be known as conservative but even at least some of its editors have their limits.
