A white supremacist gang member was convicted Wednesday of luring two men from San Diego to Lomita, where they were executed for allegedly disrespecting the Aryan Brotherhood, the Justice Department said Wednesday. Officials said Justin Gray of San Pedro, Calif., executed the two men on Oct. 4, 2020, on orders given by Francis Clement, a member of the Aryan Brotherhood who was serving a prison sentence in Kern Valley State Prison. Clement, a native of Springfield, Ore., has been in prison for more than 40 years for the murder of his friend, whom he said he walked in on raping a girl while on a trip to Las Vegas for his 18th birthday, according to reporting from the Los Angeles Times. Clement has previously denied joining the Aryan Brotherhood in 1995. Meanwhile, reports describe him as a high-ranking member of the gang formed in 1964 at San Quentin State Prison in California. Gray is a member of Baby Blue Wrecking Crew, a white-only gang that works under the Aryan Brotherhood. Clement, 60, was sentenced to life in prison by a federal judge for conspiracy, racketeering and five counts of murder. Kenneth Johnson, 65, and John Stinson, 72, were also sentenced in February of 2025 on similar charges. The convictions were part of a larger investigation that charged Gray and 20 others with criminal offenses ranging from RICO conspiracy to narcotics offenses and murder, according to a news statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California.
