A copy of Mein Kampf was found at his address. A self-proclaimed Nazi was found with a knife and handcuffs after targeting a solicitor in a right-wing extremist terrorist attack. Cavan Medlock, 32, of Austen Road, Harrow, was found to have committed the act of making a threat to kill and the preparation of terrorist acts today (Tuesday, December 10) at Kingston Crown Court. Medlock was arrested at the law firm with a large knife, handcuffs, ‘gaffer’ tape and two large right-wing flags on September 7, 2020. He had been planning a targeted attack on a solicitor working at a law firm in Harrow, the court heard. “Our investigation uncovered how Medlock had planned this attack and wanted to intimidate the public, particularly anyone who might be regarded as immigrants,” said Acting Commander Helen Flanagan, from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command. (…) The right-wing extremist had demanded to see a particular solicitor after arriving at the law firm at around 5.20pm that evening and taking out a six-inch combat knife. Despite being punched and kicked, the receptionist was able to disarm him and Medlock was restrained until police arrived to detain him. While in the reception area Medlock, upon seeing the targeted solicitor, said “he had come to the office to kill him.”
