Three men and a women are accused of being members of banned far-right terror group National Action. Prosecutors have told a jury at Birmingham Crown Court that four defendants accused of being members of a banned neo-Nazi group had “a particular interest in the eradication of Jews”. The three men and a woman, including a couple in their 20s from West Yorkshire, are accused of being hard-core members of National Action which prosecuting barrister Barnaby Jameson QC described as “a fellowship of hate”. At their trial on Tuesday, Jameson said: “We are entering the neo-Nazi world of ‘white jihad.’ We are talking about a tiny, secretive group of die-hard neo-Nazis with no compunction about attaining their objectives with the use or threat of terror”. (…) The defendants are Mark Jones, 25, and Alice Cutter, 23, both from Halifax, West Yorkshire, as well as Garry Jack, 24, from Birmingham, and Connor Scothern, 18, from Nottingham. Jameson said they advocated “Nazi aims and ideals, the violent ethnic cleansing of anyone who did not fit the Nazi mould of racial purity – Jews, primarily, but also blacks, Asians, gays and liberals”.

Something Awful's Notorious 'Fuck You and Die' Forum Shuts Down Because of Nazis

After 20 years, Something Awful’s founder has shut down its most notorious subforum. Before 4chan, there was Fuck You and Die (FYAD). In the early days of the internet, Something Awful (SA) was a forum where internet comedians honed their craft, people posted grotesque things to shock each other, and memes were born. FYAD was a subforum of Something Awful, a place where the site’s worst impulses flowed freely. Now FYAD is gone, shut down by Something Awful founder Richard “Lowtax” Kyanka. “FYAD, back in the day, used to be full of funny people producing funny content. There were some incredible threads, and they had their own unique sense of humor that couldn’t be found anywhere else,” Kyanka said in an SA post announcing the end of FYAD. “Now FYAD is a [fucking] racist shithole with no redeeming qualities whatsoever…so congratulations for killing FYAD. I hope the iron crosses and swastikas and Hitler threads were worth it.” FYAD, and Something Awful in general, were foundational for internet culture, as Motherboard wrote in its oral history of the site in 2017. Kyanka registered the domain in 1999, created a simple front page where he and his friends would post ridiculous and esoteric pieces, and attached a forum to it. The front page was a landing space that embodied Kyanka’s catchprhase for the site: “The interent makes you stupid.” The forum was a place where the extremely online—mostly white, male, nerds back then—gathered in the early days of the internet. It was also a place with a lot of Nazis, some would argue ironically, but that doesn’t make it better. According to Kyanka, FYAD had been on the chopping block for a while. “Everyone who was funny on FYAD moved to Twitter,” he told Motherboard over the phone. “The people who were left were…right wing Nazi people.” Kyanka said that for the past few years, most of the FYAD posts were the kind of Nazi shitposting seen on 4chan and Twitter that is supposedly ironic but is harmful nonetheless. “I’ve found, in my 20 years of running the site, that whenever you ban an ironic Nazi, suddenly they become actual Nazis,” he said.

Black inmate says he was attacked by White #Supremacist from #AryanBrotherhood

A black West Virginia inmate says in a federal lawsuit that he was attacked by a member of the white supremacist Aryan Brotherhood while state prison guards either did nothing or helped facilitate the assault. Lermon Russell, 44, filed suit last week over the attack at the Mount Olive Correctional Center, the Charleston Gazette-Mail reported. Russell says in the suit that Jacob Samples attacked him more than a year ago, stabbing and punching him while he was shackled. Court filings including a statement from Samples that says guards knew about and encouraged the plan to attack Russell. The Aryan Brotherhood is a violent white supremacist prison gang. Corrections and Rehabilitation spokesman Lawrence Messina said division officials only would comment on the case through court filings

White supremacist, 18, is charged with 'throwing a #Molotov cocktail through the window of a Planned Parenthood clinic in act of domestic #terrorism'

Samuel James Gulick, 18, is accused of vandalizing a Planned Parenthood building in Newark, Delaware before launching a Molotov cocktail at the building. He has now been charged with a variety of offenses and faces up to 20 years in prison. Guilick’s now-defunct Instagram account includes anti-abortion memes and a threat to ‘kill genocidal demons’ who are pro-choice. A Delaware teen has been charged after he allegedly threw a Molotov cocktail through the window of a local Planned Parenthood clinic – a crime that has been described as ‘domestic terrorism’. Samuel James Gulick, 18, was arrested over the incident on Saturday – one day after the shocking attack on the nonprofit’s Newark facility, which started a small fire. According to prosecutors, Gulick drove past the Planned Parenthood premises shortly before 3 am on January 3, and pulled the Molotov cocktail from a plastic bag. He lit the device and launched it at the building, where it damaged both a window and porch of the building.

Includes people who were served time on the island and those who were sent to France to do sentences. Philip George Ozard was sentenced to five years in France in 1942 and was later moved to Germany. The fascinating stories of Britons held as political prisoners on Jersey have been unveiled for the first time since the Second Wold War. Jersey’s Political Prisoners’ Register from the Nazi occupation shows the names and crimes of those held on the island or banished to camps in France and Germany between August 1940 and December 1944. It has been shrouded in secrecy for 75 years with access restricted until now. But Jersey heritage officials say it is ‘fitting’ to mark the 75th anniversary of the island’s liberation by opening the files. From teenagers to the elderly and labourers to advocates, the register carries the details of 506 people convicted of ‘political’ crimes. The misdemeanours that saw them locked up include painting V signs, spreading anti-German propaganda and listening to radios. Das muslimische Gräberfeld auf dem Northeimer Stadtfriedhof ist erneut verwüstet worden. Die Polizei ermittelt wegen Sachbeschädigung und Störung der Totenruhe. Insgesamt 13 Grabstellen seien beschädigt worden, teilte Günter Klinge, Chef des Einsatz und Streifendienstes der Polizeiinspektion Northeim auf Anfrage mit. Drei Grabsteine seien umgestoßen worden. Außerdem haben die unbekannten Täter Grabschmuck und Bepflanzung herausgerissen. Die genaue Schadenshöhe steht noch nicht fest. Nach den Worten von Hans Harer und Müfit Pürtelas, die das muslimische Gräberfeld vor rund fünf Jahren initiiert haben, sind außerdem noch provisorische Holztafeln mit den Namen von Verstorbenen herausgerissen und zerstört worden. Nach ihren Worten gibt es insgesamt 20 Gräber auf dem Gräberfeld. Die Beschädigungen sind am Mittwochmorgen von einer Spaziergängerin entdeckt worden. Sie alarmierte die Polizei. Die genau Tatzeit steht nicht fest. Die Polizei weiß bisher nur, dass Dienstagmittag noch alles in Ordnung war.

Rechtsextremisten zu Haftstrafen verurteilt – #schauhin #schläger #pack

Zwei Rechtsextremisten, die einen Fahrgast in einem Regionalzug in Unterfranken mit Schlägen schwer traktiert haben, sind am Mittwoch am Amtsgericht Würzburg zu Freiheitsstrafen von je zwei Jahren und vier Monaten Haft verurteilt worden. Schuldig gesprochen wurden sie der gefährlichen Körperverletzung sowie des Verwendens von Kennzeichen verfassungswidriger Organisationen. Die beiden 35 und 40 Jahre alten Männer hatten der Anklage zufolge mithilfe einer Musikbox lautstark Musik im Abteil gehört. Ein 64-jähriger Mann aus dem Kreis Main-Spessart, der sich ebenfalls in dem Zug von Würzburg nach Lohr befand, hatte diese Musik als rechtsextrem wahrgenommen und die Männer aufgefordert, diese auszumachen. Dies hatten die beiden laut Anklage zum Anlass genommen, mehrere Minuten lang abwechselnd auf den 64-Jährigen einzuschlagen. Dieser war zunächst zu Boden gegangen, hatte sich aber wieder aufraffen können. Daraufhin war er von den beiden erneut mit Schlägen schwer attackiert worden. Der 64-Jährige erlitt mehrere Brüche im Schädelbereich und musste mehrere Tage lang stationär behandelt werden. Beide Männer räumten die angeklagten Vorwürfe im Prozess ein.
