The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today welcomed the end of the employment of a Montana prison sergeant who allegedly had ties with white supremacist groups.   Montana’s Department of Corrections said on Friday that the man was no longer employed at the state prison. The Montana Human Rights Network began investigating the sergeant in March 2021, after he hosted a white supremacist gathering. The group released a full report in April of this year on the sergeant’s alleged ties to white supremacists. In the report, MHRN alleges that the sergeant has hosted events with white supremacists and expressed support for their views on social media.
