Andere interpretierten Trumps Aufruf zum Protest in “Schießt, schießt, schießt” um. “Nichts außer einem AR-15 wird das stoppen, was in Detroit passiert”, sagte ein Benutzer auf The Donald in einer Antwort auf einen Beitrag über angebliche Unregelmäßigkeiten. Der Kommentar hat auf der Plattform über 800 Upvotes erhalten. Wie “Vice News” und die Advance Democracy, eine Monitoring-NGO für extremistische Aktivitäten, berichten, finden sich derartige Aufrufe nicht mehr nur in ultrarechten Message-Boards wie The Donald oder 4chan, sondern auch in gemäßigteren Plattformen wie Reddit oder Twitter.
