The horrific detail led an amateur sleuth to the new breakthrough discovery in the search for the killers’ final victim. The amateur investigator credited with this week’s discovery of human remains on Saddleworth Moor – which could prove to be those of Keith Bennett, a victim of the Moors Murderers – has suggested that there is a terrifying detail in the locations of the burial sites. Russell Edwards said that Ian Brady, the notorious serial killer, arranged the burial places of his victims in an attempt to draw a swastika with them, a detail which led him to the new location. This adds to existing evidence that the horrific murderer was “obsessed” with Nazism and Adolf Hitler, and is even playing a role in the hunt for his last victim’s body. (…) n a particularly horrific claim, Mr Edwards said he believes Brady, who was known for being obsessed with Nazis, may have been trying to create the shape of a swastika with the burial sites of his victims. Brady, who died aged 79, collected German World War II memorabilia, and is known to have repeatedly read Hitler’s book, Mein Kampf. Mr Edwards believes Brady intentionally planned where to bury his victims in order to create the shape of a swastika, describing him as “obsessed” with creating the so-called perfect murder.
