Nazi Flag Driver Claims of Battery, Vandalism Probed by Alpine Sheriff’s Station – #antifaIstHandarbeit [upd. 09072020]

The Sheriff’s Department says it is investigating a battery and vandalism case involving the man seen driving last week on East County freeways with a Nazi flag. The alleged victim was the driver himself, authorities reported Tuesday. Lt. Ricardo Lopez, sheriff’s media relations director, told Times of San Diego that the driver allegedly was attacked June 28. “We are not going to release the name of the RP (victim) at this time,” he said, using the acronym for reporting party. “Just before 2 p.m., a man contacted the Sheriff’s Department to report his Nazi flag had been vandalized in a store parking lot located in the 1600 block of Alpine Boulevard,” Lopez said. The man says he saw another man tampering with his flag, draped over the rear lift gate of his SUV, Lopez said. “Both men began to argue when the reporting party stated he was pushed by the other man,” he said. “He also claims he was verbally and physically attacked by a woman who appeared to be with the man who had vandalized the flag.”

In East County, his namesake displayed a Nazi flag to protest Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ. NBC San Diego’s Dave Summers revealed Wednesday that the man who sought sheriff’s help after his swastika flag was vandalized is Jesus Seineke of Alpine, a divorced father of two. Seineke says he works in community service and makes no apology for his beliefs — a “one-man protest” against American trends in social justice. “I am in total opposition of Black Lives Matter or supporting anything to do with gays,” Seineke told Summers at his home. A month ago, Seineke went further. On an Azerbaijani website that showed KPBS coverage of San Diego protests, the 36-year-old Iraq War combat veteran boasted of having held a “Blue Lives Matter More” sign. He wrote: “People also have a right to stand for their own race or stand up for the police. Bowel Movements Matter, or as [they] like to be called #BLM, is in fact a racist movement fueled with a hatred for our system and targeting those in opposition of their own interests.” Also known as Jesus Enrique Salazar, Seineke has had several run-ins with police, including last December when a frightened classmate’s complaint at San Diego Miramar College led to a judge taking away his firearms. (…) “Clearly this guy is not mentally stable,” the classmate wrote their teacher. “He mentions killing in his [class message board] thread and attaches a Bible verse that talks about killing.” On Dec. 26, 2019, Superior Court Judge Matthew Brower signed a gun violence restraining order against Seineke sought by Angelica Kasinak, a detective with the San Diego Community College District Police Department.

Paratrooper pleads not guilty to charges he plotted with satanic Neo-Nazis to ambush his unit – #terror

An Italy-based paratrooper pleaded not guilty this week to charges he conspired with a satanic neo-Nazi group to help plot an ambush on his own unit during a planned deployment to Turkey. Ethan Melzer, 22, entered the plea Monday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn in Manhattan at a virtual hearing, court records show. The six charges he faces include conspiracy to kill U.S. nationals and conspiring and attempting to murder U.S. service members, which each carry a maximum sentence of life in prison. He is also charged with providing support to terrorists. Prosecutors accused Melzer, a private serving with the Vicenza-based 173rd Airborne Brigade, of using an encrypted app to send sensitive details about his unit’s locations, movements and security to members of the extremist groups the Order of the Nine Angles, or O9A, and the “RapeWaffen Division.” He was motivated by hatred to orchestrate “this ultimate act of betrayal,” Audrey Strauss, acting U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, said in a statement announcing Melzer’s indictment last month. (…) O9A, formed decades ago in the United Kingdom, has espoused violent, white supremacist, anti-Semitic and satanist beliefs. The group has also expressed support for Osama bin Laden and other radical Islamic jihadis, and hopes to “usher in a new imperial aeon (age) ruled by a race of Satanic supermen,” the London-based advocacy group Hope Not Hate has said. In one message to unnamed group members, Melzer wrote that a lack of heavy weapons and machine guns at the base in Turkey meant “every fire-team is essentially crippled,” a federal complaint said. An attack from nearby mountains could “panic the s— outta” the troops, another chat participant said, according to the filing.

‘Heil Hitler’ salute at Swinburne

A GANG of neo-Nazis who invaded the campus of Swinburne University of Technology has been condemned by the Anti-Defamation Commission (ADC). The group, believed to be from National Social Network (NSN), a fringe organisation, posted a self-portrait in which the hooded figures gave a “Heil Hitler” salute. The group later used VK, Russia’s equivalent of Facebook, to post a bizarre note of thanks to Swinburne, ending in a comment, “Swinburne for the White Man”. NSN was barred from Twitter and Instagram in May shortly after The AJN and other media revealed its activities. However, NSN members are believed to still be spreading their messages of hatred on social media platforms Telegram and VK, posting photos of members doing Hitler salutes at various locations. Confirming that the men entered the campus – believed to be without gates – to take the picture and left soon afterwards, a Swinburne University spokesperson told media the group did not have permission to be on the grounds.

Facebook Said It “Stands Firmly Against Hate.” It’s Currently Running An Ad From White Nationalists.

Since July 4, Facebook has been running an ad from a page called “White Wellbeing Australia.” On Tuesday, ahead of a meeting with social justice organizations and the release of a civil rights audit that took two years to complete, Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg wrote on her personal page that the company “stands firmly against hate.” But as Sandberg hit publish, the social network was running an ad from a white nationalist Facebook page. Since July 4, the company has been running an ad from “White Wellbeing Australia,” a two-month old Facebook page with 386 followers that has posted about a supposed “#whitegenocide” and fearmongered about the erasure of white children. “White people make up just 8% of the world’s population so if you flood all white majority countries with nonwhites you eliminate white children for ever,” White Wellbeing Australia’s Facebook ad read, accompanied by a cartoon drawing of a white woman. “There will still be a billion Africans in Africa a billion Indians in India and 2 billion Asians in Asia.” Facebook’s ad library shows that a page promoting white nationalism has been running an ad on the social network since July 4. A Facebook spokesperson was not able to immediately provide a comment on the ad. The ad comes at a particularly fraught time for Facebook, in which it has faced an external ad boycott from major corporations as well as internal employee pressure for its handling of hateful and racist content. Its executives have promised that the company is doing more to clarify and enforce its policies — particularly following a decision to leave up a post from President Donald Trump suggesting violence against protestors.

Two accused of painting over #BlackLivesMatter mural charged with hate crime in #California

Two San Francisco-area residents accused of painting over a “Black Lives Matter” mural are facing hate crime charges. Nicole Anderson, 42, and David Nelson, 53, both of Martinez, were charged Tuesday with three misdemeanor counts, including a hate crime violation, the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office said in a statement. The July 4 incident was captured on video that shows a woman splattering black paint on the yellow block letters on a downtown Martinez street and then using a roller to cover some of the letters in the mural, which was city approved. In the video, which had previously been shared on social media and by the Martinez Police Department, a man can be heard saying, “the narrative of police brutality, the narrative of oppression, the narrative of racism, it’s a lie.” The woman painting says “keep this [expletive] in New York. This is not happening in my town.” Both are white, and the man is wearing what appears to be a “Make America Great Again” hat and a shirt with the words Trump and “Four More Years.” Police confirmed that the two people seen in that video are Anderson and Nelson, a spokesman for the district attorney’s office said. Anderson painted over part of the mural, and Nelson “directly aided in the alleged criminal conduct,” the district attorney’s office said. Both are charged with violation of civil rights; vandalism under $400; and possession of tools to commit vandalism or graffiti; which are all misdemeanors, according to the district attorney’s office.
