So rechtsextrem waren die Mahnwachen von Friday gegen Altersarmut

Im Vorfeld zu den AfD nahen und rechtsextremen Demonstrationen von Fridays gegen Altersarmut hatten wir schon davor gewarnt. Auf diversen Demonstrationen heute waren Rechtsextremisten vor Ort. Es hatte sich aber auch deutlich abgezeichnet, denn ein Großteil der Anmelder der Mahnwachen waren entweder AfD Unterstützer oder aber direkt aus der rechtsextremen Szene. Warum die Gruppierung Friday gegen Altersarmut niemanden ausschließt? Man sollte sich genau deswegen unseren Artikel durchlesen.

US neo-Nazi directing group from Russia, BBC finds – #terror #theBase

The American founder of a US-based militant neo-Nazi group is directing the organisation from Russia, a BBC investigation has found. Rinaldo Nazzaro, 46, who uses an alias in public, left New York for St Petersburg less than two years ago. His extreme right-wing organisation – The Base – is a major counter terrorism focus for the FBI. Seven alleged members were charged this month with various offences, including conspiracy to commit murder. Court documents prepared by the FBI describe The Base as a “racially motivated violent extremist group” that “seeks to accelerate the downfall of the United States government, incite a race war, and establish a white ethno-state”. (…) Last year Nazzaro was listed as a guest at a Russian government security exhibition in Moscow, which “focused on the demonstration of the results of state policy and achievements”. A video posted online in March 2019 shows Nazzaro in Russia wearing a t-shirt bearing an image of President Vladimir Putin along with the words “Russia, absolute power”. We traced Nazzaro and his Russian wife to an upmarket property in central St Petersburg purchased in her name in July 2018 – the same month to which the FBI dates the creation of The Base. Records show that, before moving to Russia, Nazzaro ran a company registered in New York that offered access to a “network of security professionals” with expertise in intelligence, counterterrorism, counterinsurgency, and psychological operations

AfD-Fraktionsvize lobt "kluge Politik" der Nazis

Bernd Pachal von der AfD in Marzahn-Hellersdorf würdigt bei Facebook die Rolle des SS-Mannes Reinhard Heydrich. Die SPD fordert Konsequenzen. Sympathien für Nazis sind bei der AfD im Bezirk nicht ungewöhnlich. Die AfD in Marzahn-Hellersdorf demonstriert gern moralische Überlegenheit und erinnert die anderen Parteien an grundlegende Prinzipien demokratischen Zusammenlebens. (…) Wer sich anschaut, was mancher AfD-Politiker abseits offizieller Verlautbarungen von sich gibt, muss sich allerdings fragen, wie es die Partei selbst mit der freiheitlich-demokratischen Grundordnung hält. Die umfasst schließlich auch Aspekte wie Rechtsstaatlichkeit und die Ächtung von Gewalt- und Willkürherrschaft. Einen besonders krassen Fall brachte am Donnerstag der SPD-Verordnete Dmitri Geidel in der BVV-Sitzung zur Sprache. Der stellvertretende Vorsitzende der AfD-Fraktion, Bernd Pachal, hatte sich bei Facebook anerkennend über einen führenden Vertreter des Nazi-Regimes geäußert. Pachal lobte dort „die kluge Politik des Reichsprotektors Reinhard Heydrich“ in der damaligen Tschechoslowakei. „Dieser stellte schon vom ersten Moment an die Weichen richtig.“ Heydrich ist als „Schlächter von Prag“ in die Geschichte eingegangen, als Chef des Reichssicherheitshauptamtes und Organisator der Wannsee-Konferenz zur „Endlösung der Judenfrage“. Doch das alles ficht den Vize-Fraktionschef der AfD nicht an. „Heydrich“, schreibt Pachal, „war beliebt.“ Die Tschechen seien „erst verhalten, später dankbar bis begeistert“ gewesen.

Netzwerk aus Lügen – So werden Sie auf Facebook von Fake-Profilen manipuliert

Gefälschte Profile verbreiten Propaganda und verführen Nutzer, möglichst viele Informationen preiszugeben. Der SPIEGEL hat ein geheimes Netzwerk enttarnt. Sie gaben vor, für das Militär und die Polizei oder auch in der Modeindustrie zu arbeiten, verbreiteten rassistische Kommentare, verehrten Wladimir Putin oder Donald Trump – und waren allesamt nur erfundene Charaktere: Der SPIEGEL und das Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRL) der US-Denkfabrik Atlantic Council haben ein weltweites Geflecht aus mehreren Hundert gefälschten Facebook-Profilen enttarnt. Das Netzwerk war seit mindestens 2011 in über 30 Ländern aktiv, Facebook hatte es nicht erkannt. Erst nach Hinweisen durch den SPIEGEL und das DFRL hat das Unternehmen das komplette Netzwerk abgeschaltet. Wer hinter den Falschprofilen steckte, ist noch ungeklärt, die Spuren führen nach Chile. Die Betreiber des Netzwerks knüpften offenbar Kontakte zu Zehntausenden echten Menschen. Viele von ihnen arbeiteten in der Politik, Medizin, beim Militär, als Polizisten, Journalisten oder Anwälte und offenbarten mitunter unzählige private und intime Informationen. Der Verdacht liegt daher nahe, dass die virtuellen Annäherungen nicht allein zu Propagandazwecken geschahen, sondern auch das Ausspionieren realer Personen zum Ziel hatten. Zu diesem Zweck dachten sich die Betreiber der Fake-Accounts teils abenteuerliche Lebens- und Liebesgeschichten aus, über die sie sich miteinander verknüpften. Von außen wirkte es wie eine Telenovela, die nicht selten in Deutschland spielte:

Far-right thugs Britain First storm Muslim council meeting

Members of the far-right organisation Britain First have stormed a Muslim council meeting, disrupting its proceedings. According to local reports, members of the group including leader Paul Golding burst into the Islamic Sharia Council in Leyton on Monday, claiming it was promoting a “barbaric, medieval system of law”. Golding’s aggression forced council members to call the police. The Islamic Sharia Council, based in London, is a centre that provides counsel on faith and culture matters that are not covered by English courts. While they are important to those in the faith, they do not create a “parallel legal system,” as Golding claimed. Khola Hasan, a scholar at the council, said: “We are not a court. He [Paul Golding] makes a point of saying that we call ourselves a council as if we are trying to hide the fact we’re a court. We never have been, we have always been a council.” She added that the centre helps with faith-based mediation issues, like whether to drink alcohol or not, and offers Islamic divorces – something unavailable in English courts.

Revealed: the true identity of the leader of an American neo-Nazi #terror group – #theBase

The white supremacist group the Base has been a target of FBI raids and its members accused of planning a race war. The Guardian can now reveal the identity of its secretive leader. The Guardian has learned the true identity of the leader and founder of the US-based neo-Nazi terror network the Base, which was recently the target of raids by the FBI after an investigation into domestic terrorism uncovered their plans to start a race war. Members of the group stand accused of federal hate crimes, murder plots and firearms offenses, and have harbored international fugitives in recent months. The Base’s leader previously operated under the aliases “Norman Spear” and “Roman Wolf”. Members of the network do not know his true identity due to the group’s culture of internal secrecy. But the Guardian can reveal that “Norman Spear” is in fact US-born Rinaldo Nazzaro, 46, who has a long history of advertising his services as an intelligence, military and security contractor. He has claimed, under his alias, to have served in Russia and Afghanistan. The revelation of his identity comes after a months-long investigation by the Guardian into Nazzaro and the activities of the Base. (…) The Base – which is an approximate English translation of “al-Qaida” – began recruiting in late 2018. The white supremacy group, which has regional and international cells, extols the virtues of an all-out race war while specifically targeting African Americans and Jewish people. Using encrypted apps, members of the highly organized group planned terror campaigns; vandalized synagogues; established armed training camps and recruited new members. The US attorney for Maryland, Robert K Hur, speaking after the recent arrest of three members of the Base, said that they “did more than talk – they took steps to act and act violently on their racist views”.

Keene white nationalist accused of making threat through app

Indictment accuses Christopher Cantwell of trying to extort personal information. A white nationalist from Keene who pleaded guilty in 2018 to charges stemming from a torch-lit rally at the University of Virginia is facing new charges of extortion and making threats. Christopher C. Cantwell, 39, was arrested Thursday morning in Keene by FBI agents. Officials said he was indicted by a federal grand jury and charged with extortion and sending interstate threats. According to the indictment, Cantwell allegedly sent an instant message through the Telegram Messenger app to a man who uses the online pseudonym “VM.” The indictment alleges that Cantwell threatened to sexually assault the man’s wife if he didn’t give him information he wanted about someone else.
